SmartSIP Description

SmartSIP®, a premise-based application, provides a DTMF suppression solution and masking solution to contact centers to securely capture cardholder data in live operator calls. Customers can use their touch-tone telephones to enter sensitive information, while remaining in contact with the agent at the contact center. DTMF suppression and masking replaces customer tones with flat tones that cannot easily be converted back to original data. Agent screens are filled with a mask of the customer's entry. SmartSIP effectively stops the verbal exchange between customers and agents. This allows for full call recordings and full screen capture. SmartSIP acts like a proxy between the Session Border Controller or Media Gateway and the voice platform. It interacts with the DTMF information without affecting the voice path. This product was specifically designed for VoIP telephony contact centres.
