Positive: Managing product information is crucial for our business, especially considering the complexity of our catalog. Our product data includes intricate structures like bundles, which are composed of multiple sellable components, each requiring careful coordination. This level of complexity often demands bulk data transformations or mass exports to ensure accuracy and efficiency across our platforms.

Pimberly proves to be a powerful solution for managing these challenges. It enables us to store data at both the bundle level and the component SKU level, giving us the flexibility to handle each layer of product detail without compromise. This capability is particularly useful when performing large-scale updates or making quick adjustments, ensuring that even the most detailed product structures remain consistent and manageable.

Furthermore, Pimberly’s integration with our ERP and website streamlines our workflows by allowing seamless data mapping and transfer between systems. Instead of dealing with disjointed processes, we can ensure that product information is synchronised across platforms automatically, reducing errors and manual intervention. Whether it’s updating pricing, managing inventory, or ensuring that the latest product specifications are reflected on our e-commerce site, Pimberly acts as the central hub that connects and facilitates all these actions.

Negative: Pimberly can, on occasions, run slowly when doing large imports or exports. Pricing feeds can take a while to update too.

Summary: From the very start the Pimberly team have been very engaging from the initial scoping session, through discovery, and into project start up. The team are very knowledgeable about their system but very open to discuss future developments, the issues we face as a customer with not having our data in a PIM system prior to meeting them.

Positive: One source of truth for our product data.
Easy to build product data with additional attributes so no need to have everything in for the system start.
Excellent compatibility with all major ERP systems.
Ability to use the PIM as the product master rather than ERP.
System navigation looks very simple and easy to set up.
Full support from the Pimerbly team - pre and post sale - we believe this sets Pimberly aside from the other software providers and was a key consideration in our PIM provider.

Negative: None yet identified any issues. The Pimberly team have demonstrated ho they have taken user customer feedback to further develop their system.

Summary: An excellent piece of software, allowed our company to process 10x the amount of stock as we did prior to using Pimberly. Support is also excellent and are always on hand to assist in anything big or small.

Positive: Automate every part of the product creation process. With use of datasets, you can be sure there will be no spelling mistakes or any other chances of human error.

Negative: A few features such an duplicating automations or matching images to products in numerical order (issues specific to our needs) not currently available. New features are being implemented all the time however.

Summary: Comprehensive, excels in integration, reliability & security. Great helpdesk support & ongoing training.

Negative: There are no relevant cons I could find for PIMBERLY.

Summary: My experience using Pimberly has been excellent from day one. It meets all our needs and they have a fast and efficient support team.

Positive: Ease of use, full functionality, integration capability with other systems, etc. It is the only truly multi-language PIM where you don't have to duplicate attributes to translate them.

Negative: There is nothing I don't like and the things that can be improved, they work day by day and are constantly improving them.

Summary: Overall my experience with Pimberly is extremely positive. It is extremely easy to use and also user friendly.

Positive: Pimberly makes access all of your product simple and easy, ensuring you are able to access all you data on the touch of a button.

Negative: Pimberly can occasionally be a little slow, this can happen at various times but other than this there is nothing else I can think of.

Pimberly has completely revolutionised our data management processes. The platform offers a level of automation that we never had before, streamlining our operations and reducing the manual effort required. Negative: While the system generally performs well with individual tasks, its efficiency diminishes when processing large bulk updates.

Despite a few bugs which can be expected with an in-depth system as Pimberly, one of the redeeming aspects is its support team. Whenever issues arise, the support team is known for their quick and effective response. They are diligent in addressing and resolving problems.

Summary: Overall, my experience with Pimberly has been extremely positive. The platform has significantly improved our product management processes, providing a streamlined and efficient solution for handling our diverse range of products. The intuitive interface makes navigation a breeze, even when dealing with complex parent/child variants. Additionally, the continuous addition of new features showcases Pimberly's commitment to enhancing user experience and staying ahead of industry needs.

Positive: Pimberly's software is a clean and easy to use.
It's easy to navigate through products (especially if we have parent/child variants).
Customer service is top notch!
Always adding new features to make the process even quicker and better.

Negative: There is no really any downsides, whenever we had an issue or a bug it was always looked at almost instantly.

Summary: Smooth transition from no PIM at all to implementing Pimberly. Training provided along the whole process and monthly check-ins. Their Customer service is fantastic.

Positive: Pimberly is really easy to use. The Customer Service is easily 5 star. Never afraid to ask them for help.
The flexibility Pimberly offers us has benefited the whole business.

Negative: Visibility of what the Decision table and Workflows are one created, option for titles would be ideal. However, Pimberly takes onboard any of your recommendations of improvement and try to implement them where possible.

Summary: The Pimberly team was an absolute pleasure to work with. They believe in their product and the quality of their work shows that. They are diligent, informed and extremely helpful. They are engaged in learning about the businesses of their clients and it shows when they come to the meetings with very specific questions and solutions prepared for us.

Positive: The software is very intuitive and flexible to meet the needs of our very complex foodservice business. The software offers more than just enhancement opportunities for product data, such as sales sheets, vendor portals, et. al. These additional opportunities will enable us to have a better sales experience for our customers.

The Pimberly team was extremely knowledgeable and when our primary contacts didn't have the answer they got the answers and responded very quickly. They were extremely accommodating and easy to work with.

Negative: With only one pre-production and production environment we were a bit limited on how we could control the data as we created multiple schemas and category trees. This was not a road block but it did force us to look at our data differently to determine what were our non-negotiables in terms of how data is managed between systems.

Summary: Pimberly has made the creation, storage and output of data consistent, easy and robust. It is also great to work with a company who are always trying to improve; for example, Product Grading. A few months ago I was pro-actively approached to see if I would like to have automatic grading of my products to that I could identify and address areas of weakness, the face to face training and implementation was all done free of charge and it is yet another reason why I feel as though Pimberly understand the importance the real world application of their product and are looking to create long-term symbiotic relationships with their customers.

Positive: It's great to have a "one ring to rule them all" approach to product data, once the data is happily residing in the PIM you can easily (and automatically) update it with feeds and send it out with API channels and outputting files to SFTP locations.

Also, if you want to make any changes then their support team and account management are second to none.

Negative: It's a distant memory now and things have massively improved in recent years however the initial setup took longer than expected.

Summary: I use this product every day and I couldn't do what I do without it. I would recommend this product information software to any company without hesitation.

Positive: This product management software is the best on the market, from loading products and adding media to importing and exporting data fast and efficiently. Easily categorize your data and media so users can find all the product information they need within a few steps. As a Marketplace Manager I can get our products to any of our websites and platforms very quickly indeed.

I am also looking forward to the new features which are on the horizon to make Pim even better!

Negative: This is only a minor concern - Being able to group brands or retailers in the facet so we do not have a long list.

Summary: I would definitely recommend Pimberly, we were able to get up and running with out complex data set and product setup - on boarding guys were great.

Positive: UI (when accurate), logical way of working and excellent support/on boarding who were able to get our setup done quickly.

Negative: Having to manually find attributes to export and format how they are exported and imported every time. Few improvements I can think of.

Summary: As an agency deeply entrenched in the world of ecommerce, Calashock has had the privilege of working with numerous product information management (PIM) platforms over the years. However, we must say that my experience with the Pimberly PIM platform has been nothing short of extraordinary. It's a game-changer that has elevated our clients' digital commerce strategies to new heights. Their team is also great to work with, both for Merchants and for Agency Partners!
