Summary: SUCKED! Product doesn't work out of the box and have to roll your own implementation for such basic things like opening a file and saving.

Go with someone else.

Positive: Sales guy will respond quickly while you're getting setup to buy the product.
Once you buy though, BUYER BEWARE, they do not offer tech support to actually help you.

Negative: Tech support sucks.
They don't offer phone/zoom support to quickly answer questions.
Libraries are horribly documented and half the stuff doesn't work.
HUGE RIP OFF, Go with Pdftron or one of their competitors.

Summary: Good product, it's not very easy to setup if you are doing really customized projects that may involve some code.
Setting it up even with just React proved a little difficult, I think you need an experienced dev team to get the real functionality of the platform.

Positive: Really interesting product, it solves a real pain point in embedding PDFs that is really tough to do from the ground up.

Negative: Support is not very good and when you want to make your PDFs really customized, it's a really tough thing to do.

Summary: There is not much choice in the field for PDF viewer and redaction. This is the best one. There are some free open sources being contributed but they are not very stable or not enough features.

Positive: - UI and UX look clean and friendly.
- Execution fast enough considering number of features.
- Most complete web PDF features on market

Negative: - With only base features of PDF viewer, its already pricy. Should have been lower price so it will be much easier for small companies developer folks to convince their upper management for budget approval. Or include all features such as annotation and redact.
- Have not try all but per documentation, there are not enough types of event. When I need to know when the viewing document is printed or downloaded I must use custom toolbar button.
- File *.wasm is still large size after compression so initial static content caching is slow.

Summary: A quite comprehensive solution from a company with many years of experience in the industry. New features are coming due to the evolution of software and M&A.

Positive: A comprehensive set of features.
High level of customisation.
Multi-platform support.
Support extra formats.

Negative: Support to migrate from one release to another is rather poor.
Poor support for previous releases.
Expensive compared with competitors.
Too many corporate acquisitions.

Summary: The overall experience is positive, the technical support is also excellent, always available and punctual in providing support.

Positive: Great SDK for viewing and editing PDFs. Also very interesting are the Office file viewing features, with client side conversion. Lots of possibilities to customize both style and functionality.

Negative: Performance on large files (over 50 MB) could be improved.

Summary: It was great experience and support much happy than expected.
PSPDFKit is very useful library for front end.

Positive: Quick support provided by Omar Talaat and noe it's working perfectly.

Summary: Working with the people from PSPDFKit was a good experience. They are friendly and mean to help. They have a good product which gets updated often.

Positive: Good application with a great support team. The product is stable without many error, bugs or downtime. The support team is one of the friendliest I have experienced. They also keep PSPDFKit updated with the newest technologies.

Negative: I somewhat miss documentation. The ticket I had about implementing annotations could've been avoided by having more community supported articles and more defining documentation. Don't get me wrong, they already have quite the documentation. But the solution that I was looking for wasn't found without a dev on their side.

Summary: I would recommend. I had a great experience working PSPDFKit. They provided workarounds when something was not 100% doable.

Positive: It is very easy to use. Everything you need can be easily found in the documentation. Also the support team is very responsive and always happy to help with any problems.

Negative: Sometimes it can have limited functionality and limited customization.

Summary: PSPDFKit is fanatical about handling PDF. I first heard about them over a decade ago as an ios pdf renderer library, and when I needed a solution to work with PDFs, I immediately remembered them, discovering they'd created a whole suite of products since then to work with PDF.

At my company, we build accounting software and we've adopted their product for generating PDFs.

I've always considered PDF as a frightening nebulous proprietary standard that has no proper cross-platform tooling, so I gladly settled for mediocre exports of documents with botched layouts and fonts, but not anymore. We can now create PDF documents exactly the way we want them to look like.

As a customer, I'm hopeful for a long productive partnership.

Positive: Great and easy to follow API, helpful guides and examples.

I mostly deal with server side and had no problems with deploying it all on premises. I found their app/browser-based editing/working with PDF examples much much much better. Demos are top-notch and give you immediate picture of what you can do.

Negative: Licensing seemed a bit confusing to me which is understandable for such a suite, but it's drastically improving now that they are consolidating their products into Document Engine, etc.

Summary: Many thanks to PSPDFKit team for their assistance in various questions mentioned above.
This helped save time on finding a solution to the problem and achieve the desired result.

Positive: PSPDFKit team, quickly, qualitatively and excellently helped with various questions related to document caching on iOS and Windows platforms.

Negative: We couldn't find any cons, since the PSPDFKit team did their job well.

Summary: Great product, will definitely consider using again in the future when developing applications that require the features supported.

Positive: The product is very customizable and can be integrated with other custom applications.
Support is very quick to reply to questions and provide answers.

Negative: It requires a large number of files to be included and published at a location within the context of the app. In my case this was a SharePoint app and the toolchain for app creation does not handle this scenario well so we had to manage deployment of these files separately.

Summary: Great product.

Summary: Great modules to extend the functionality of your own software in terms of PDF editing. The support is absolutely fast and reliably helps with integration questions. I have been a customer for years and very satisfied with the company.

Negative: No negative aspects, i cannot tell anything negative.

Summary: Excellent. The pre-sales engineering support was outstanding. They put together a proof-of-concept for us to test the compression, and we were able to integrate that into our application with very little effort. The team was easy to work with, and the post-sale customer support has been proactive.

Positive: This is the only PDF manipulation library we found that is able to consolidate multiple copies of the same embedded font, and it does so very quickly. In our application, we create many separate PDFs, each with embedded fonts, then we merge those into a final PDF. Using this library, we're able to reduce the final document by over 60% (in one test case, from 3.4MB to 1.2MB.)

Negative: The only negative is the licensing model. The library is broken up into a number of modules that are separately priced on a per-document basis. This means that you only pay for the features you need, but you need to do a good up-front analysis to avoid multiple trips back to the well to add modules you didn't know you needed at the start.

I prefer a per-developer "all features" license, but we were able to reach a fair agreement.
