Great product!!! Date: Oct 17 2022
Summary: Overall, we are quite satisfied with the PrizmDoc architecture as well as their support. PrizmDoc Product Management is quite open to new product ideas, suggestions, and enhancements in their product.
Positive: 1. PrizmDoc architecture is extremely flexible. It allows server-side and UI integration the way your product needs.
2. PrizmDoc Viewer supports quite a lot of file formats for viewing in HTML5 browser.
3. The skin of the PrizmDoc viewer is fully customizable as per our needs.
4. Supports native view, redactions, annotation, markup burning, and much more.Negative: 1. There needs to be a better log file rotation mechanism for the PrizmDoc server, especially when the size of generated log files is humongous.

2. The space and time to create PrizmDoc viewing packages can be improved.
3. Inverse redaction (ability to unmask a user-defined area within a larger masked area) is not possible. -

PrizmDoc Edited: Sep 23 2022
Summary: The Accusoft team is very helpful when we ran into a very few issues we encountered in the beginning. Great product, better company.
Positive: Easy to implement, a deployment that matches our architecture, and a great range of capabilities.
Negative: None so far. Wish there was more focus on expanding existing capabilities instead of new products.

Takes document functionality to another level Date: Sep 22 2022
Summary: Overall PrizmDoc is a great product that helps the way I work everyday. PrizmDoc is a user friendly and not overly complicated and adds a lot of value to our documents.
Positive: I really like the search, annotation and redaction functions. Once you get familiar with the tools, they are a very efficient and easy to use. The simple tool names and icons are intuitive and something that people learn quickly when shown by an experienced user.
I really like using search and redact functions together as it helps me make sure I haven't missed anything.
After using PrizmDoc I can't imagine another way of doing things!Negative: Some tool functions are really subtle, like clicking on a tool twice to maintain (pin) tool selection. It can take a while to learn and get used to all of the tool options, for example there are many document search options.

We made short videos and quick-guides for our users to learn these functions.
It would also be nice if the annotation feature had a resolution option, so someone could address and resolve another users comment. -

The only way to review native files Date: Sep 21 2022
Summary: We have found the Accusoft team to be most helpful when we ran into configuration or technical issues and have appreciated their willingness to work with us as partners while we were getting the company off the ground. This is a great team and a great product.
Positive: We use PrizmDocs to display native files on our search, analytics and review platform. Once our users find information, they need to see it in the context of the documents they have found. A text view can be useful but it is no substitute for the native file. But natives need to be opened or otherwise made viewable using the . PrizmDocs solves the problem by displaying the file in an HTML format that we can display in the browser. It also highlights key terms and search hits and provides a means to redact the records.
Negative: We have found that PrizmDocs works pretty well and haven't had any major issues. It requires technical expertise to run but it runs well when properly configured.

Zola Suite Date: Oct 26 2022
Summary: Based on the feedback of our end users, mostly satisfied with the exception of those who heavenly use MS Office features.
Positive: Product works as expected. Well fit to any environment, especially a Cloud environment. Installation is simple and easy to work.
Negative: Compatibility with Microsoft Office is an issue for us as the Editor operates via Linux/ Docker only. unfortunately, almost everyone uses MSO and Word styles and fonts are not displaying correctly.

Great in-browser PDF viewer solution, but lacks certain useful features Date: Oct 07 2022
Summary: Overall PrizmDoc Viewer is a great solution to be able to view PDF documents within the browser. Document annotation feature is also very useful.
We always had great experience with AccuSoft support and PrizmDoc dev team is constantly working on new releases to fix issues and introduce new features. It would be great if they address the items which I listed in the cons section in the upcoming releases.
Their developer documentation is very detailed and made my job of integrating PrizmDoc Viewer with our application fairly straightforward.
I really enjoy this product and will give it all 5 stars once all the items on my "wish list" are covered.Positive: We are using self-hosted Accusoft PrizmDoc Viewer to display PDF and documents of other formats within the web browser and without the need to download and open the file in an external viewer. We were able to customize the solution for our needs to control the dissemination of sensitive documents and to better comply with PHI regulations.
The Annotation feature of the Viewer is something we were also able to customize for our specific application and it's served us well.
Certain components, which we required, were missing out of the box, but our development team was able to add those.
The support team for PrizmDoc is very knowledgeable and always comes through for us when we reach out through the ticketing system.Negative: PrizmDoc Viewer was missing certain features, which would have been nice to have out of the box:

1. The ability to display bookmarks in the viewer sidebar from PDF files (and possibly other file formats). Currently you have the ability to see page thumbnails in the sidebar, - we would like to be able to access PDF's bookmarks in the similar sidebar natively using the PrizmDoc Viewer.
2. Having the ability to configure the viewer to be able to have all the document pages cache locally in-browser upon viewing. We often receive the feedback that when scrolling through the large documents the viewer takes longer time to load the pages (even if they were loaded and viewed previously in the same viewing session). We asked for this 2+ years ago: https://ideas.accusoft.com/ideas/PDV-I-656
3. Need a better way to deal with password protected PDFs - something that has been requested here: https://ideas.accusoft.com/ideas/PCC-I-457
4. This isn't much of a con, but more of a wish - it would be great to have some sort of an administrator console or dashboard to have visibility into the document pre-conversion, caching and disk usage for the PrizmDoc Server and PAS. Having stats and ability to drill down into how many documents are cached, when the cache is expiring and how much space is taken on disk by the cached documents would be a great way for administrators to provision server resources and troubleshoot any issues. -

Lots of Features, Poor Performance Date: Sep 21 2022
Summary: PrizmDoc takes a while to get up and going, eats lots of resources, but once up, has lots of features and is reasonably easy to integrate with.
Positive: It comes with a lot of features, Docker Support, Kubernetes Support (ish), helpful support, and document rendering is fairly faithful to the original.
Negative: PrizmDoc is a massive application that requires a lot of resources to run. This makes things difficult for the developers and expensive to run in the cloud. Just running the installer can take up to 30 minutes to install the PrizmDoc server. Looking at the underlying services, I count at least 4 different programming languages each with their own stack. It also uses Open Office under the hood to render documents, rather than it being their own rendering engine. This involves spinning up lots of processes that eat CPU and memory.
