Summary: My experience has been positive - when changing payment processing, one worries, especially with a new company. that there could be issues, but it has been a smooth experience from set up to the first payment processed.

Positive: I like that Nickel was easy to set up, has unlimited free ACH transactions in the month and customer service is easy to reach.

Negative: I don't really have much dislikes - but if I had to say something, perhaps the lead time for the ACH payments to hit the bank account.

Summary: Very positive, makes processing payments quick and easy. We make our money faster as a result of the payment link being intuitive for our customer's to navigate.

Negative: Thus far, I have not run into any problems with Nickel that would make me dislike the program.

Summary: I appreciate Nickel because its integration with QuickBooks is remarkable. Using the Bill Pay app that works seamlessly with QuickBook allows me to quickly pay my contractors without any hassle. This integration saves me a significant amount of time as it automatically records transactions, eliminating the need for double data entry, which boosts efficiency and reduces manual errors. I love the fact that Nickel provides this service for fre, which is a considerable advantage for my small business, as it helps cut costs significantly. The initial setup for using Nickel was effortless. I was able to easily send requests to my contractors to obtain their banking information, simplifying the onboarding process. This ease of setup was instrumental in getting started with Nickel without facing any challenges. Overall, Nickel offers an intuitive, cost-effective solution that streamlines my workflow, making my financial management more efficient and less time consuming.

Positive: I use Nickel for direct deposits to independent contractors. It integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks, saving me time and costs. The setup was easy, and I previously faced issues using Zelle and Venmo. I highly recommend Nickel, rating it a ten for its efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Negative: I have nothing negative to report. My experience has been nothing but positive.

Summary: I am more than pleased with their services. Whenever I need assistance, someone is always available either by chat or by phone. But I have rarely needed assistance due to the ease of use with this program. I would encourage anyone to use them.

Positive: I appreciate the service Nickel provides for payment processing. It doesn't penalize customers or business with constant fees when using bank account payments. Automated reminders, a professional personalized payment portal, and diverse integration options add significant value. The initial setup was also very easy making the transition from Quickbooks smooth and hassle free.

Negative: I have no dislikes at this time. I think that this payment processing option is worth the time and effort it takes to obtain.

Summary: I highly recommend for companies looking for an easy ACH solution. It is incredible easy to use, its free, and its incredibly easy to set up.

Negative: Because its new, its not integrated into our practice management and invoicing software yet but we will continue to use it.

Summary: Ever since Quickbooks started charging for ACH banks transfers, I've been on the lookout for a new platform that does not charge for this. I have a small wedding photography business (Kyle Carnes Photography) and I hate giving away money needlessly to credit card companies.

Then I found Nickel, which not only doesn't charge for ACH bank transfers, but they also allow adding a 3% processing fee to all credit card payments. There is also no subscription fee. This is huge for my business.

I also love that the platform is so intuitive and easy to use. It doesn't have a bunch of feature bloat. Just quick and easy invoicing and payment processing.

You can get to sending out your first invoice within minutes with your business branding and easy payment options.

While ACH payments can take a few days to enter my bank, this is normal for the industry, so it's to be expected and doesn't take any longer than other platforms.

If you're looking for a more feature-rich platform with accounting and all that then Nickel possibly might not be for you. But if you just want to simply send competent invoices and circumvent credit card processing fees then Nickel fits the bill.

Positive: Easy to use ACH bank transfer processing. The option to automatically add 3% to all credit card transactions.

Negative: There is no mobile application. The website is nearly unusable on mobile, which is a real shame. It needs a mobile app ASAP so users can send invoices on the go.

Summary: If you are looking for a great way to invoice clients, I would not hesitate to try Nickel. It has saved us at least $1,000 this year and my clients say it is easy to use and they like it.

Positive: Easy to set up and utilize. It has taken me a little while to figure out how to organize things best so that I can find invoices easily, but that was user error and now that I've figured that out its been smooth sailing.

Negative: I wish it had a line by line where it added up the invoices for you - for instance if you are adding three invoices - it has a line for each one and adds up the total. Just keeps human error out of it.

Summary: Their system is reliable, easy to use, and their team has been professional and responsive every step of the way.
It has helped us reduce our ACH and credit card fees.

Positive: We’ve definitely seen noticeable savings on our credit card processing fees and ACH transfers compared to our previous provider. The platform is both secure and user-friendly. It's clear they genuinely care about helping businesses keep more of what they earn.

Negative: Some certain features available in QuickBooks invoicing don’t carry over from the Nickel system. For example, I miss being able to see when an invoice email has been opened and viewed.

Summary: I am happy with Nickel and will continue to use it. It's customer support and ease of use are what keep me using it.

Positive: Nickel is easy to use. The 2-way integration with QBO works seamlessly. Their customer support is quick and responsive. The system is easy to use.

Negative: The only feature I see that is still lacking is the multiple level approval process. They only allow a single level approval process.

Summary: Nickel provides me an economical, efficient and professional way of processing payments without the fees that are being charged in the industry. Positive: Nickel processes are very efficient, user friendly and professional. The value is unparalleled as they offer free services in which even my bank would charge me monthly fees. The customer support is phenomenal as they are responsive and knowledgeable. Yes - I speak to a human who helps whenever there is need. Negative: I would like to have the recurring payment feature without a monthly fee. Beyond this one feature - I have been very pleased with every aspect of Nickel.

Positive: We’ve enjoyed using Nickel since we signed up! We’ve had issues in the past with other softwares not being user-friendly & processing times for payments delayed- but Nickel has been quite the opposite! We definitely made a good choice.

Summary: Overall, a very good experience. I moved from Melio because it was inconsistent with it's reporting and very frustating because of that. I found Nickel, gave it a try and has been very useful for my needs.

Positive: Simple to use. Reporting is solid. Unique links are a plus, and the emails are very timely. For my use case this is exactly what I need. While there are integrations that could be helpful, my use case needs SIMPLICITY and SPEED, and I feel like I get those.

Negative: Reporting, specifically export to CSV was missing a few columns that would be very helpful. It is not a deal breaker but was one thing that stood out. I would also like the ability to save customers and contacts.

Summary: Overall really satisfied. Very simple, but also very effective for the things that I need accomplished.

Positive: I did a deep dive of like 10 other digital payment websites and ended up choosing Nickel. The main reason I chose Nickel is because it has a 0% fee for ACH payments, but it also has some other nice features. It has pretty seamless QuickBooks integration, and what I find most useful is the general payment acceptance link they give you. I can literally send this link to anyone and accept payment from them so I don't have to worry about customizing any invoices or sending the wrong link or anything.

Negative: No major issues with Nickel so far - support is pretty responsive and have fixed the small issues I have ran into.
