Kudoboard Reviews

Summary: Kudoboards are a hit - they're lightweight but meaningful. They don't need shipping, the choices you have to make are minimal (title, background, when to send) and they're easy for groups to contribute to.

Positive: It's a fun, easy, personalized way to send well-wishes for any occasion! The gif + note is the perfect way to shout someone out efficiently!

Negative: Sometimes it's hard to find the kudos I received/sent.

Summary: Prior to joining my current team, I had never heard of Kudoboard, but since joining the team and receiving two Kudoboard's myself, I am loving it! The idea is so cool, it's very inexpensive for an annual membership, and the sense of teamwork is fantastic! Our team uses it on a very regular basis, and it is super great. Thank you for making such a great product!

Kudoboard allows my team to feel much more included and involved in each other's work. Since we are all working remotely, this level of inclusion and involvement is huge in keeping our team engaged. The variety of gifs available also mixes up the way we are able to give each other shout outs, which is super fun!

Negative: We have a blind member on our team, and his screen reader doesn't work with Kudoboard. However, Kudoboard's support team is working with him to see what can be done so he can be included in the fun, too! Everything else is super great!

Summary: Overall, we love using Kudoboard for team events and to show appreciation! We plan to continue using this product for years to come.

Positive: Love the ease of sharing the board with other members of the team. The use of GIFs is so fun as well!

Negative: Scheduling the delivery UI is a little tricky the first few times, but once you've familiarized yourself with it it's a breeze!

Summary: It was fun and a colorful way to express our wishes and gratitude online within a closed group. Loving it!

Positive: It is simple and easy to use, has great range of features for customizing the background and even to add gif/ pictures. Helps to preserve the memory for our loved ones. We have used it multiple times for farewell and birthday wishes especially during the pandemic when we could not meet and greet in person.

Negative: Very less entries per board (only 10).
Mandatory sign up for adding message (to have an account to create a board makes sense but even to add message do we need to create an account?)

Summary: I have used it to celebrate couple of birthdays and farewells of my colleagues and they were all very happy when we showed them the Kudoboard. So I’d recommend everyone to use this in special days!

Positive: Kudoboard is very creative and super easy to use! It’s a perfect platform to use to make employees happy in birthdays, anniversaries, and farewell. You can also add gifs, pictures alongside with text in your message. Physical cards can get lost but Kudoboard page is there to stay!

Negative: There’s nothing I dislike about Kudoboard so far. It’s very well developed, I haven’t faced any technical problems.

Summary: Overall I would highly recommend this product to both individual users as well as in a corporate or business environment.

Positive: Easy to register and communicate with folks.
Can schedule delivery so no risk of forgetting.
Users can sign the card separately.

Negative: Somewhat limited design interface, this is compensated by ease of use however.

Summary: Great site and my team loves it. I have use the service for intern day, admin day, work anniversaries and birthdays and it's a great way to connect to coworkers and celebrate them.

Positive: Great service and connects with people in a special way.
My team really loves when we can personalize and celebrate co workers.

Negative: I like more professional/family background options.

Summary: Overall it was very nice experience with Kudoboard. I frequently use this tool to celebrate virtually like birthday, anniversary, new parents and any team achievement within team we used it more frequently.

Positive: Each team member can contribute in celebration virtually with good pictures, Gif to make special moment more special. No matter wherever you are.

Negative: There is no easy way to share receive Kudoboard on social media. i.e. WhatsApp Status, Facebook Instagram stories.

Summary: Extremely happy with the product - cost is the same as a card and much faster to use and more special.

Positive: I use this a lot for our work team (which is geographically spread out) to recognize people when they are leaving the company and/or Birthdays, etc. It is extremely easy for even non-tech savvy people to use. The ability to add pictures, gifs, memes, etc. make it look really nice and more special than a paper card.

Negative: Nothing - everything works really well. I'd highly recommend this product.

Summary: Overall, Kudoboard has been a game changer while supporting a staff that is remote! It reminds our staff in a fun way that we are all still a team and still able to enjoy those special moments as a team.

Positive: I love Kudoboard. It is a great way to recognize staff in such a virtual world. It is an easy platform to use and very reliable.

Negative: There are no cons that I can think of at this time.

Summary: This is a great way to recognize birthdays for my team. Super easy to use and many features are free.

Positive: Really easy to use, lots of options. Love that it you buy boards and they do not have more signers that what is needed for a paid board that it does not charge you from your plan.

Negative: Only thing I wish it has was a way to notify you as you are approaching the limit for the free board. You don't want people to try and sign it and be given a message that they can not sign if it is full.

Summary: Kudoboard is much better than other e-card platforms I have used. I am a repeated user and Kudoboard is the preferred solution for my team.

Positive: The best features of the Kudoboard are:
- The possibility to add GIFs, which allows all contributors to be more personal
- The many backgrounds to choose from
- The reminders
- The automated delivery schedule

Negative: - UX can be improved (more for the person who sets it up, rather than contributors)
- There could be a "lite" version that is slightly cheaper

Summary: My overall experience with Kudoboard is great but, if the accessibility of outsiders to sign Kudoboard links is a possibility that would be the icing on the cake so to speak.

Positive: I love the ease of creating a Kudoboard with the settings options that are plentiful to choose from as a background as well as the functionality of the delivery of the Kudoboard to the receiver. I like the personal notes that are provided in the settings as well as being able to upload pictures to the add to the Kudoboard.

Negative: I do not like that sharing a Kudoboard link with outsiders to add or sign is not possible since, the Kudoboard access is only for the users on the account. If there is a way that the link can be shared with outsiders to sign it would be beneficial. Our company wants to have the ability to have others sign Kudoboards without the party being part of the account as a user.

Summary: It's been great using Kudoboard. It adds an element of collaboration and celebration across distant offices that we were lacking. I like that there's a lot of variety and customization in what you can post.

Positive: It's easy to use and a fun way to celebrate virtually. It reliably sends the board just when schedule. I like that you can add your own content or search from a wide variety.

Negative: Some of the features for modifying the boards aren't where you'd expect them. It usually takes me a couple tries to find the "Schedule Delivery" option.

I like that you can add your own backdrop, but I wish there were some sort of parameters listed around size/quality of photo so it turns out better. Or the option to zoom in/out and drag/drop the photo around.

Summary: A very positive experience. We created 5 different cards for teachers to say thank you or if they were leaving. Extremely hard and time consuming to try to get parents to sign an actual card these days so perfect in a post pandemic world ;)

Positive: I love the fact you can choose a message and a background.
That you can send the link to all the other participants.
That people can add a photo and a message.
That you can schedule send.

Negative: Can't think of anything that is a con. Could maybe have the option to use own background but I'm just trying to fill space.
