    Great feature set for IT professionals

    Summary: ISL Light Remote is the workhorse of our office. We use it every day almost all day and frequently evenings and nights supporting our customers. It also gives us the freedom to access our office computers from anywhere. We really appreciate the simple, fixed pricing and its clean, accessible interface.

    Positive: We have used ISL for 5 years, so we are highly familiar with it features and quality. Pros include:
    * Flat price with no limit on the number of unattended access installs. We don't have to pay for adding more customer machines.
    * Easy, fast connections.
    * Great compatibility with Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS.
    * Control panel is easy to navigate.
    * Ability to give subcontractors controlled access to specific machines.
    * Support is rarely if ever needed. When it is, it is fast and well-informed.
    * Work very smoothly in the office using the desktop control panel app and elsewhere using the web-based control panel.

    Negative: ISL Online includes at no extra charge its Groop virtual meeting service. It seems clunky, not up to the high standards of the reviewed product, ISL Light Remote Desktop. It is not relevant to the reviewed product, but I couldn't think of any cons for ISL Light Remote Desktop itself.

    Perfect Solution for Self-Hosted Remote Support and Service

    Summary: We use the self-hosted conference proxy and we are very happy with this solution for now and there is still so much to discover.

    Positive: First of all, the simplicity and intuitive design of the tools combined in the solution are very helpful for evaluation. We have been searching for a self-hosted solution with the option for support und upgrades. In fact that was one of about 15 criteria, that where all full filled immediately. Likewise support for mobiles, data privacy compliance (EU DSGVO), customized design (for corporate design), easy to use for customers and supporters/operators and at the same time being able to change specific parameters for system administrator and operate behind firewall and proxies, the documentation and video tutorials (youtube channel) are great ... Best of all for us was the friendly and very helpful support!

    Negative: The possibilities to configure the system are huge. The preferences in the administration backend could be extended with the explanations from the documentation. It is okay if you have two tabs open - one with the doc, one with the admin panel, but I would prefer to have both combined. And some icons in the backend would be fine. Even though the video tutorials and online documentations are up-to-date and a big help for getting in touch with the system as an operator, there are only a few (not enough) videos for the administrators to learn about the "deep stuff". But I guess there will be some more, soon ;)

    Summary: We use ISL software for quite some years in our company. It is good addition to other remote desktop solutions so we are planning to keep using your solution since it servers our purpose very well.

    Positive: We liked the flexibility of ISL Team who offered us additional licenses for use during Corona crisis, which helped a lot in process of transforming our company to start working from home.

    Negative: For administrator we didn't find option to create shortcut on desktop to establish connection to individual computer. Older versions had this feature by default while in new version session expires.

    Summary: Overall, we have quite pleased even with the limitations above. Access is sometimes very slow or unavailable. This may however be due to a lack of familiarity or due to password safeguards?

    Positive: Ability to access medical and other records off site. Recently, we were able to access and forward email health records to a Veterinary Emergency Clinic while I was out of town and unable to physically access my office computers.

    Summary: Very pleased with the product and the customer service, my wish for the future is an option to buy fewer minutes, or even better longer "shelf life" for minutes.

    Positive: Easy to set up.
    Easy to use.

    Good picture quality.
    Excellent customer service - Customer support very graciously extended the time for my unused minutes (i had quite a lot left after a year, see cons).

    Negative: Limited options for pricing.
    My use may be an edge case, i find my use is too infrequent to warrant a full year unlimited use, I opted for the 500min "pay per use", and even then found myself at years end with almost 400 mins left.
