Summary: We are a volunteer organization of retired employees with a mission to protect our pension. I am the treasurer of the organization. We had been using ClubExpress’s membership system for several years but had not fully implemented the website capabilities. We took on that project this past year. Though it may have taken us a bit longer than average (seven months total), the overall experience of enhancing our existing website was very positive. The price of ClubExpress for both the membership services and the website enhancement is very reasonable. We were assigned one of ClubExpress’ engineers to guide our redesign work. Now that the website is redesigned we want to take on other projects such as fully implementing the Donation features of ClubExpress. What I especially appreciate about ClubExpress is how they are always improving the product with new features.
Positive: I especially like the robust features of ClubExpress, the security and privacy features of the membership system, the ease of creating web pages, and the reasonable cost of ClubExpress. The Help Desk availability is excellent. I truly feel like ClubExpress is our organization’s collaborator and partner.
Negative: Though we very much appreciate being assigned an engineer to help us with the website redesign, the way that collaboration was supposed to work was not made crystal clear to us at the outset. We hit a bump or two along the way. We were, however, able to work things out by talking to the sales team member who helped set reasonable expectations, and by talking directly to the engineer.

Summary: We have moved to ClubExpress to allow for online payment of dues. We are also managing our membership details and calendar of events through ClubExpress.
Positive: Love the ability for club members to pay dues online, sign up for events online, and place their own classifieds. I like that all aspects of our membership experience can be handled through ClubExpress.
Negative: No automated waitlist for events. This is my biggest gripe. We should be able to have a waitlist for events and have those on the waitlist (in order) be placed automatically into the attending section as members delete their registrations. It should then email the new attending member. Classifieds module end user UI needs to be improved.

Summary: Using ClubExpress is still much easier than maintaining a custom webpage and payment service. We collect membership dues & info, create marketing stuff, write newsletters, and sales. The only real benefit is only needing to login to one application to access the info.
Positive: ClubExpress has many features a club needs for a website/app. It's more than a generic web host. The integrated membership registrations are great. Lots of information (club info, photos, videos, and sales) can be captured all in one application.
Negative: Changing and maintaining the website is not easy. Setting up the app didn't go well either. I still can't figure it out. Many of the page setup screens are very old school and not intuitive.

Summary: This platform has helped us take the problem of online social interaction and turning that into IRL get togethers. This is because the online groups have access to an events calendar on the same platform. Overall we are pleased with using this platform. It is adaptable as we have scaled up since first coming aboard and it still meets our needs.
Positive: The website and member database is pretty straight forward to use from the point of view of an admin. Also, I like how the development team continues to provide software updates. This is a well serviced platform.
Negative: In account profiles, one dialogue box displays different information compared to what is shown in the member's profile. This sometimes creates a confused member.

Summary: The tool has all the required integrations to attract and gain a huge customer database. We don't have to think twice about security issues. Works perfectly fine and unlike other tools, it doesn't freeze frequently.
Positive: With this amazing tool we can create creative websites for our organization's needs. Integrations present with the platforms help to make more secure transactions, create reports and generate due reports. With surveys, we can know the opinion of users and grow ourselves.
Negative: Initially, some minor negatives are there with the tool. But their team removed all the bugs and now it works perfectly fine.

Summary: Everything is contained in one database: Document storage for our club; Member and non-Member management; Event management; online payments; direct Donations; Social media/Facebook interface; Newsletters; Quickbooks interface. We eliminated using Survey Monkey, Evite and Constant Contact.
Positive: It is a wonderful club management platform, as well as a great template for our public website. Their customer support is outstanding. I like their monthly webinars and videos gallery. They listen to their customers that have suggestions for improvement.
Negative: With many features available for clubs to use, it can seem a bit daunting for new users. It takes a knowledgeable user to guide a new user to understand which features they need and which ones they don't.

Summary: ClubExpress has a great many features, which are essential for our business growth. We don't have to go for multiple platforms and hence we can reduce a lot of time. The team is very responsive. With the platform, we can easily develop a website with all the features integrated with it. Their team is supportive enough that we can even suggest improvements relating to the tool.
Positive: ClubExpress is integrated with various other platforms such as PayPal, google calendar, etc, so we don't have to go for each and every tool for our requirements. We can easily integrate social media platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn, which helps boost our programs. With Authorize.net we can easily do credit card processing. Our team can able to reduce efforts in tax processing also with the tool.
Negative: Multiple downloads at a time are not possible with the tool. Better is they incorporate UPI applications with the platform. Integrating with platforms such as Instagram etc, are not possible. We are also facing some occasional issues with the tool such as difficulty in joining the meetings etc. But overall ClubExpress plays an important role in our business growth.

Summary: ClubExpress does website tweaks quite often to resolve problems and make enhancements. They do provide webinars and YouTube video tutorials on the changes / new features as well as videos on how to perform basic functions. Their video library and documentation is quite extensive.
Positive: I appreciate that ClubExpress is able to take care of much of our events work on-line with automatic membership signups and renewals, event RSVPs and payments, digital member-only directory, emailing, newsletters, etc. It does it all!
Negative: Website initialization and figuring out how to use the website took some of our time but ClubExpress customer / technical support representatives are always available for anyone to get information (club members and leaders).

Summary: For customer support and ease of integration, ClubExpress is fantastic. I like how they are always taking suggestions for improvements and implementing those suggestions when possible. No site is perfect, but ClubExpress is pretty close!
Positive: Simple, clean, easy to navigate site. Super simple to update content, and I would like to start "playing" with the website set-up to see if I can improve on the design and make it more timely. Accounting reports are great and easy to use. Email templates are always improving. Renewal process is incredibly easy.
Negative: As with any AMS, it isn't perfect. I wish the membership card was not an extra expense (one time fee). I wish there was a search bar. Obviously, when you are looking for an improvement and are told that it isn't available, it's frustrating, but understandable as ClubExpress is a product that is tailored to meet the needs of multiple organizations, not just your own.

Summary: I like the ability to keep everyone connected, add informative materials for our products and have those items available to all members with just a few clicks. It is a great benefit for our club.
Positive: ClubExpress is very willing to help when needed. Plus, ClubExpress made using their services extremely easy. I know nothing of how to run a site, but they are set up in a way that even I can understand it. Fully functional website and responsive, friendly technical support when we need it.
Negative: Software upgrades are generally for the better but would be nice to have a chance to participate in the process of prioritizing and phasing their introduction.

Summary: Support is good. They provide good service at a reasonable price range. It comes with a huge relational database so that it's easy to enter and retrieve details into the directory. We can easily collect payments and donations online.
Positive: ClubExpress has all the features to effectively organize and manage a website. Can easily add details to the customer database. The directory is so useful, and we can get results easily. The templates available with the platform are so creative.
Negative: Sometimes application freezes while using. It will be better if they add more payment features to the tool. The environment is rigid which makes it difficult to use. Usually, we have to fix things in the backend.

Summary: ClubExpress does all that we want right from collecting and depositing money, knowing how many are coming to events, able to restrict numbers when needed, email communications with our members and Board of Directors.
Positive: Very inexpensive website setup with great features and relatively easy to use like collecting payments. Incorporation with PayPal. Easy login after signup or approval.
Negative: It was not always as flexible as I would like. But I am sure that others out there with that are way more expensive and have more features than we could use or even justify buying. For us ClubExpress is a great fit.

Summary: New members use ClubExpress to register for our events. The average age of our members is roughly 80, so there are a few members who are afraid to use a computer or who have difficulty learning how. Fortunately, the Club Express user interface is so intuitive that almost all of our members use it (rather than call for assistance).
Positive: I believe that having live people answer the phones has to be my top Like. More than like, it is outstanding! Every time I cannot figure out a procedure, Club Express engineers solve my problem within minutes.
Negative: The website is really difficult, with far more features than is possibly needed. The pdf file is so long and I don't always find what I need there. Or if I do the image is nowhere close to what I'm looking at on my screen, so I call for support at that point.

Summary: ClubExpress has made it easier for us to manage our membership and our events. Member tracking, billing, and general communications are also easily handled with Club Express.
Positive: ClubExpress makes it simple to update our website, manage RSVPs to events and track our membership. Easy to manage most functions. Many reports available for administrative and management functions.
Negative: There's not much to dislike about ClubExpress. Email communication is a little bit old fashioned.

Summary: Our journey to a ClubExpress provided website allowed us to consolidate several services we used for payment collecting and emailing.
Positive: Our organization seriously needed a website upgrade. But, we are volunteer-driven writer's group and website skills are not our strength. Working with the folks a ClubExpress made the transition run smoothly and they are always there to answer our questions.
Negative: Some of the options, like scheduling blog posts, are clunky. Also, our monthly newsletter's formatting is at the mercy of the several members who keep it updated. A simple automated format would be great.
