Summary: Overall, Atera is a great platform that Infrastructure management team needs.
I especially liked the knowledge base which is well drafted, and I use it a lot.
and the reports and analysis on dashboard along with the option to download reports is what I use day to day.Positive: So, I have been using Atera for pushing updates/patches to VM's & for RMM features on Hyderabad location.
Atera is actually the platform which has been implemented prior me joining the organization.
its features which are PAM like are also helpful for remote access of employee machines and servers as well as providing remote support to users.
The asset management is also a well-used tool by us.Negative: I've observed that many times when the page refresh does not happen automatically, I manually refresh page and error comes up.

Also, sometimes, while logging in, I have to log in more than once to get actually logged in.
so apart from some above minor discrepancies Atera is all good. -

Summary: Overall, I think Atera does the job its marketing team has advertised it for.
In Microsoft, we have implemented for Bangalore location only and it does its job of Remote access management, Inventory management, Monitoring and reporting etc.
Overall its a stable platform, but sometimes the Real Time analytics dashboard shows inaccurate status.Positive: We needed a tool that could provide PAM like remote access, push scripts, update the OS and drivers, monitoring and reporting, manage inventory, and support helpdesk capabilities. Atera does all of this efficiently. we explored other remote monitoring and management tools, but they were either too complicated or didn't align with our organizational needs.
Negative: It took a while for us to set it up for a big organization like ours.

A beautiful dashboard with a professional look also provides many functionalities. Easy to use and understand. Good customer care support.
Positive: Atera is one of the best collections of IT tools for IT professionals. It provides remote monitoring for the network devices connected to our organization and we can manage it. By using Atera, automation of patch management becomes easy. Atera provides a secure environment for work-from-home employees, as we connect office desks remotely through our home computers. Also, Atera has a very professional and attractive dashboard. Atera also provides functionality like ticketing management and reporting. It increases the efficiency of work and provides the best and safest environment for remote employees.
Negative: I do have not many negative reviews about Atera, but it might be very expensive for a small IT Company and sometimes it lags a little bit when connected to Splashtop and Any desk.

Summary: I would say my overall experience with Atera has been very normal. Most of my interaction with the team is via email and the team is knowledgeable and helpful.
Positive: Atera software is very much useful for us for customer billing and customer helpdesk management. I like the user based reports very much.

Positive: There are so many useful features with Atera. I like the ability to create and access system restore point at all times. Also, the schedule automation feature is very much beneficial for us.
Negative: Deleting temp files is not very much straightforward. But apart from that I have no issues

Summary: I feel that this tool allows me to effectively manage my machines and gives me the power to act as a team on my own. The AI features are more than a gimmick but it certainly doesn't do my job for me. The shared libraries of scripts and SNMP templates save a huge amount of time, assuming that what you need is in there and accurate.
Positive: Amazing value for the price. There are some great features including SNMP monitoring (extra cost) and the AI features can be a real time-saver.
The AI script generator is really helpful for you to describe what you need to be done and to have it spit something out that is almost exactly what you need. It's never perfect as with any AI system, but it can generate really great samples to get you on the right track.
I love that you have the option to use Splashtop or Anydesk (or both). It's nice to know that you have a fallback remote access tool in case one of them goes down.
The script and SNMP libraries are really helpful. You are able to search for scripts that are submitted by other Atera users to use in your environment (Make sure to vet the scripts yourself). You can also submit scripts yourself to help others out.
Support is amazing. The techs are available in seconds via chat and always seem to have the answers you need on hand. The developers are listening, and adding feature requests all of the time.
The community forums are very helpful and everyone is willing to help you succeed.Negative: There are some missing features that really need to be added sooner than later to be able to compete with the bigger players in the space.

The inability to attach a single user to multiple devices is a daily headache for me. You are able to attach multiple users to a single device, like an RDS server for example.
The monitoring profiles are a bit finicky to get dialed in and applied to the right machines. Once you figure out how to use them and create a few, they are pretty powerful.
The time-tracking interface is clunky compared the larger products like CWM. -

Summary: Compared to other platforms I've used, I've generally been really pleased with the platform. As a tiny, newly established MSP, Atera has enabled me to easily expand my firm.
Positive: Atera is simple to install and administer.
Additionally, the application carefully considers customer problems and resolves them.
Atera is a bold solution with a variety of features.
Like previous systems I've tried, patch management hasn't given me any issues.
