Summary: Overall, extremely positive. Such a simple, but elegant solution to task and project management. I'd highly recommend any professional to at least try it to see if helps them manage their workload.
Positive: It's so versatile. I use it for every single work task I have as a todo list, that's easily adjustable by date/task. I do the same now for my personal todos...it's a great way to make sure I've taken care of all important things for the day before signing off. Also, I use it for project management for projects between teams as well.
Negative: I can't say much against Asana other than I still haven't figured out a way to move more than one task at a time down my personal list of tasks, so I have to move them all individually.

It's a good platform that keeps teams organized. Date: Jan 24 2023
Summary: This platform offers several benefits when creating a project, on the one hand, it creates an atmosphere in which everything is organized and structured, which allows the completion of a project without so many problems along the way. On the other hand, it allows the interested parties to be informed of the status of each project that is carried out, this being a good solution since everything was done manually and with only Excel sheets and maintaining contact through only email or meetings at the end. both the execution and completion of a project becomes tedious and repetitive. Asana allows extensive monitoring of all the assigned tasks of various work teams, likewise you can see the availability of each person to know if they are available for future projects, thus protecting them from being overloaded with work, thus lowering the performance of the person affected by overwork by not completing tasks correctly.
Asana in recent years has been the muscle within my company when it comes to managing a project, although it requires previous knowledge to be able to use this platform, it is also true that once the tools have been mastered, all projects can be completed with practically no setbacks, making it possible to obtain good results by having a well-structured team and assigning tasks efficiently. With the integrations, it has allowed me to automate the entire process of being able to connect data without having to transfer from one platform to another, this has helped me to be able to integrate many of the platforms that I currently use to connect them with Asana without leaving my comfort zone with other platforms.Positive: * Workflow Builder has allowed other tools to be automated together without the need to use external platforms for integration such as Appy Pie or Zapier, which despite the fact that these platforms that I have just mentioned are very useful within almost any company to automate all the work is also important that each platform can have internal automations as Asana is currently starting to do. With Workflow Builder I can create processes that do pretty much a lot of my work managing a project and it's all done automatically, so I very rarely integrate integration platforms when using Asana as everything can be found right there within their platform.
* Another tool that has been quite useful to me throughout the use of Asana is Workload since it has allowed me to manage staff or work teams from different projects more easily, I say this because this feature allows me to see the days when people they have workloads and what capacity they have available to assign tasks. A clear example of how Workload has benefited me is that when managing the assignment of a task I can see the availability or workload that each person has and thus not assign more tasks that could lower the performance of a person having tasks that he will not be able to complete due to excessive work, so before assigning a task I go to the Workload panel and thus verify the availability and workload of each one of my work team.
* Thanks to the hundreds of integrations I can make my job much easier since I don't need to pass data from other platforms to this one to have everything connected (and vice versa) since everything stays interconnected. This has resulted in me counting on being able to have Asana Calendar connected to Google Calendar, so I have more control over my to-dos and other to-do lists. Also, with Adobe Creative Cloud I can facilitate my marketing by being able to have the projects and tasks both in asana and in Adobe Creative Cloud since the information is shared reciprocally.Negative: * It is possible to see the list of tasks in a very ordered way, but for me sometimes it is not very useful since I would like to be able to order the tasks by priority and not by completion date. This would give me a better advantage when it comes to organizing my tasks and focusing more on those that require a lot of attention to detail, as well as the effort that must be applied to other tasks regardless of the differences in delivery time. This function of ordering by priority added to the Workload function will allow to better manage the performance and availability of each employee in the event that new tasks are to be assigned, thus being able to have the work team more organized in each project that is being managed.

* It can take a long time to get used to Asana even if you use the free version, you have to get used to it very well in order to streamline projects and easily manage assigned tasks. By this I do not mean that you have to get a specialty in project management, but rather because of the number of functions that Asana has, and it can be overwhelming to learn how to use all its tools without any problem. So, if someone is thinking of adding Asana to their company, they must consider that they must have prior knowledge of this platform before they can get a good return on investment, because if they don't, they will be affected in the projects they manage when implementing Asana and they are just beginning to know how it works, making this a waste of time and money.
* There is a confusion with the assigned subtasks, since it is shown as a normal task which is not the case since when a member of my team reviews their tasks, they will think that they have work overloaded and in reality, it is not. Therefore, my recommendation is to show the tasks, but if they are more specific tasks of those tasks which several people are involved, they should be seen as a respective subtask and not as tasks only since it overloads the task list with repetitive events. and also confuses when knowing what tasks have been assigned to me. -

Very efficient and competent project manager Date: Jan 11 2023
Summary: With the help of this platform I have been able to set objectives so that the goals are clearer when I can finish the projects, thus being able to generate a better workflow so that all the members of a project can do everything without any setbacks or any wall that intervenes. at the completion of the projects. I have had a good automation by being able to assign tasks within tasks and allowing each team to distribute all the work of a task, being able to divide it into more tasks and more teams. I have been able to have details in real-time reports of any problem of all the processes and progress of the projects in question, also being able to detail if there is any setback or problem since I can read the comments left by all the members involved. Thanks to the interactions with other applications, I have been able to facilitate passing information to Asana from other platforms without having to review many manual entries and vice versa, making everything more automated and focusing only on the combination of delivery times of each project which is being managed within me. company. It is very complete to handle a large scale of projects without any lack of tools, I recommend it for very large teams which require many processes for the development and combination of large-scale projects.
Positive: With Asana it has been possible to integrate very well the calendars of the different emails that I currently have, this was very useful for me since I did not have to manually synchronize all the notes and important events since they are currently a very heavy load to carry out that work. So the full integration with the Outlook and Gmail calendar was the best thing that happened to me to be able to integrate all the events within the projects and thus have easier reminders Without having to start from scratch to make notifications of each upcoming event and assigned tasks within a project.
The board is very personalized, this gives me a lot of freedom to be able to have what I want to see once I log in to this platform. The main screen is the most important thing to be able to highlight what is most relevant while managing a project, so I can add different sections or tasks, lists, some calendars or everything that interests me to know when I'm managing not one but several projects.
It was useful to be able to have the option to approve since being able to verify if the work is done is important For the combination of a project to be very effective since within my company we avoid having setbacks and that certain pre-established norms are skipped. So with Asana you can have approval once the assigned jobs or tasks are verified that they have been completed correctly with all the steps to follow so that the completion of a project is very effective since within my company we avoid having setbacks and that break certain pre-established rules. So with the healthy one you can have approval is once the assigned jobs or tasks are verified that they are completed correctly with all the steps to follow and with their well-written documentation marking all the steps which the results were obtained.
It is natively available for desktops on both Windows, Mac this was very useful for me as I can sync all tasks and projects on all devices and not just web version and desktop version. It gave me the ease of being able to focus on projects without using the browser since in the past that was the only way to be able to use Asana at that time. The mobile application, in turn, is very complete, just like the writer versions, regardless of whether it is for the web or native to each desktop operating system, so I don't miss out on certain functions that this platform may have, but everything is already there. integrated into any mobile device regardless of the operating system you are using is Android or iOS.Negative: I'd like a way to be able to use notes even when I'm not connected to the internet, that would be very useful for annotating or saving comments that I can use later without having to connect to the internet to use Asana. It would be most helpful if I use Asana via the mobile app to annotate, as if I use an external app I would have to manually sync everything and waste time in the process. So I hope that in a future update they can include using Asana or at least taking notes without necessarily having to be connected to the Internet.

It would not be bad if Asana could integrate or adapt to small projects for small businesses, this would be very useful since this platform has a small learning curve which is difficult to adapt to being able to handle many complex functions that the interface brings. There are many options which the user must learn before being able to manage a project correctly, so this platform should adapt to different types of projects as well as being a workspace which would be easy for the end user to change, just You should click on a tool that allows you to select whether it is a small project or a large text that has several particular positives and many tools are required to carry out a complete project management.
The integration of a button is missing that could undo an error made within this platform, for example, delete tasks by mistake or delete a person within a project. So any change that is made within this platform could have steps back indefinitely, as if it were a photo or text editing program. This would be very helpful since in case of making mistakes you can always recover the information without any problem and also you would not have to start from scratch when you accidentally delete an entire project. Some kind of backup would also be nice, which allows you to restore by versions all the movements made within Asana. -

Efficient service to generate projects and view diagrams and statistics. Date: Dec 07 2022
Summary: Asana is a platform that has earned its place within my company, our financial services company is very grateful for the results provided by this platform, we return various projects monthly and modify each of the members for each project, for which, This platform has allowed us to have a database at hand for each one of the participants in each project, in addition, it has been a key piece for all our employees to work together. It is very important how our employees can communicate through this application and can share ideas, complete all kinds of activities in less time, exchange activities, and finish projects in less time. Despite the fact that this platform is quite expensive, I consider each of the plans they offer to be very worthwhile, since it gives you full access to very important features such as budgeting, risk management, ROI, charts. of behavior and success of activities, diagrams and many more features that will help you understand the progress you have in each project, I really loved developing the strawberry on this platform and I consider continuing to use it for the next few years to generate many more projects in my company of financial services.
Positive: Asana is a very essential platform in the general operation of our entire company, mainly because this platform helps us manage each of the projects that are developed within the company. The main feature that I like about this platform is that it has a built-in time measurement system, with this system we can measure the work time of all our employees, we can also measure the time that each employee spends preparing one of the activities programmed within of each project, in addition, this function allows us to have a record within a database of the working time of each working day of the employees, we can consult the employee's working time of the past month or this month without any problem, since the database is very extensive and has a lot of space to store all the information. Another of the features that I like about this platform is that it has an excellent communication and work collaboration system, in which each work team can access this communication channel and interact, share all kinds of files, carry out activities in together, communicate with each other, they sent messages instantly and many more things, this communication channel really helps a lot to strengthen group work to develop various activities. I also love the interface with the main one of this platform, since it allows me to modify the view of the projects in board or column type view, I love it a lot more views, in the same way they provide me with advanced details about each project, it provides me Details about the status of each project, status of activities, percentage progress activities and members of each project, really these views are very beneficial.
Negative: One of the main negative things about this platform is learning to use it, learning to use this platform for the first time is not easy, it has many options to create and develop projects, and the fact of integrating each of the people to different projects, I consider that this platform has to be used only by professionals, since the general interface and the control panel of the projects is very complicated to use. In addition, another of the negative things about this platform is that it does not have any type of keyboard shortcuts, therefore, this complicates the mobility that you may have within the project panel a bit, you will have to move through each of the sections manually, there is no type of keyboard shortcut that facilitates your mobility between the different sections of projects, budgets or members of projects or activities. The last negative feature of this platform compared to the free version, since this free version does not allow you to create more than two projects, in addition, there is a limit to the number of participants that can be in each project, and you do not have access to the management and budgeting features, so I find this free trial to be quite limited for new users and does not do them any favors, it does not give them access to the important project management features in Asana.
