There's no requirement to alter your MetroPCS voicemail number or adjust any forwarding settings, as Visual Voicemail is automatically activated for free upon first use. Additionally, you have the option to upgrade to the Voicemail to Text service for a nominal monthly charge, allowing you to receive transcriptions of your voicemails directly in the app's inbox or through SMS. It's worth noting that MetroPCS Visual Voicemail might occasionally use free SMS messages to interact with the Voicemail server. Moreover, an Unread Messages widget is now part of the MetroPCS Visual Voicemail experience, enhancing user accessibility and management of voicemails.
