Description

Magnum is a powerful and flexible software designed for conducting 3D finite-element magnetostatic analyses with impressive accuracy and efficiency at a reasonable cost. This program is capable of executing three distinct types of calculations: it calculates free-space fields in limitless volumes based on specified applied currents, computes bounded fields influenced by coils, permanent magnets, and saturable isotropic ferromagnetic materials, and analyzes pulsed fields in areas containing ideal conductors. Moreover, Magnum effectively addresses saturation phenomena in ferromagnetic substances as well as in advanced permanent-magnet materials such as NdFeB and SmCo.
