Description

Larm is a comprehensive uptime monitoring solution that evaluates websites, APIs, and services from various global locations, alerting users only when multiple checks verify an issue. This approach of multi-location verification significantly reduces the occurrence of false positives commonly found in other monitoring systems. The platform provides support for various monitoring types, including HTTP, TCP, DNS, SSL certificate, and heartbeat/cron checks. Each HTTP check delivers an extensive request waterfall, encompassing critical metrics such as DNS resolution, TCP connection time, TLS negotiation, time to first byte, and data transfer duration, equipping users with the insights needed to troubleshoot performance challenges rather than merely indicating downtime. Every subscription tier comes with status pages, even the free version, which are displayed as static HTML and hosted via a CDN to ensure accessibility even when your systems are offline. Paid plans additionally allow for custom domain usage, email subscriber notifications, automated incident updates, and the organization of components into groups. Alerts can be dispatched through more than 13 different channels, ensuring that you receive timely notifications in your preferred manner. With its robust features and user-friendly interface, Larm stands out as an essential tool for maintaining optimal website and service performance.

Description

You can either create or import TLS certificates and monitor their validity within the management console. Automatic retrieval and renewal of Let’s Encrypt certificates can be achieved easily, provided that you validate your domain ownership. Additionally, you have the option to manually upload certificates from external certification authorities and utilize them within Yandex Cloud. By selecting certificates from the Yandex Certificate Manager, you can enable HTTPS access for your static websites. It's essential to use domains with validated rights when interfacing with the API, as a certificate associated with the domain will facilitate a secure TLS connection. Once you upload or renew certificates, the changes will be reflected across all resources simultaneously. When generating a certificate, various verification methods can be selected, but for Let’s Encrypt certificates, only domain ownership verification is necessary. Notably, the Certificate Manager does not verify domain rights for user-uploaded certificates. This streamlined process enhances security and ensures that your web services remain reliably accessible.
