I'm using the free version for a few months now. So far, no cons, will upgrade!

Summary: I am very satisfied to have found this tool, it makes my life and work easier.
Its user interface is excellent, intuitive and its monitoring tools make it the best option.

Positive: Easy to use.
Easy deployment.
It is very cheap compared to other complex and very expensive tools.
It has many configuration options.

Negative: This tool definitely has nothing against it, it is excellently well designed and its interface is very intuitive.

Summary: UptimeRobot just works perfectly, i never had anything to complain about ever, it worked perfectly for me for a long time now.

Positive: I use UptimeRobot for a long time now and it always worked perfectly, i love the new design options for the Status Page and i am happy to keep on using it for my company!

Negative: I really do not have anything to complain about, works perfectly.

Summary: Love that platform and it's saved me a ton of headache by consolidating clients into a single monitoring portal.

Positive: Easy to set up and maintain. Clean and simple user interface. Smart alerts and notifications that don't bombard you with information or repeated requests.

Negative: Pricing structure for the solo paid plan lowers from 50 free monitors (5-minute interval) to only 10 monitors (1-minute interval) for $8/mo. You can pay $15/mo for more monitors, but that's a steep hike from the free plan for simply reducing the 5-min interval to 1 minute.

Summary: Great product. Can’t complain. Love the fact they have a free plan. You can get started right away and see it for yourself.

Positive: We needed a solution to keep a track of how of service,
If everything is indeed up. Datadog was too intense. Found uptime to be perfect for our scale.

Negative: Would have loved to see public web page for tracking to be included in the free plan

Summary: Overall, UptimeRobot is the best service anyone could ask for out there. I am not looking at alternatives. It meets all my needs and exceeds my expectations.

Positive: Instant communication on downtime. This is a life saving feature. I like the mobile app version as well

Negative: Webhooks are not available on free plan. It would have been nice to have web hooks on the free plan as well.

Summary: I started using Uptime Robot in 2021 after not knowing one of my company's websites was down for days. It's been a good experience.

I'm now a fractional CMO and I track all of my clients' websites with it.

Positive: Monitors multiple websites easily.
Notify you when they're an issue.
Reports the length of the outage.
Affordable.

Negative: None that I've experienced. Even the free version has a lot of value.

Summary: It is a shame as it used to be a great product but it has stopped working and the support is horrible.

Positive: Used to work, but this is no longer the case. This service cannot be relied on and the support is abysmal.

I reported that I have 2 accounts, identical monitor on each. One reported 7 minutes downtime, the other 45 minutes, which one is correct? - their answer: "this is normal". Huh??

Negative: They broke it. Monitors are frequently not working, reporting the state 30-40 minutes late, or not at all. I have 2 accounts and 1 account may report correctly while the second doesn't - it's just unusable :(

Right now, I have a monitor that should be up, but isn't, their solution? - Reset the stats and lost 3 years of history, because it is "stucked in cache". Disgraceful.
