Edgefinity IoT Description

Edgefinity IoT is a powerful RFID and IoT platform that gives organizations real-time visibility into inventory, assets, equipment, work-in-process, and personnel. By collecting data from RFID readers, sensors, and connected devices, the platform provides a clear view of what is happening across facilities and operations.

Edgefinity IoT helps businesses automate tracking, locate critical assets, monitor movement, verify inventory and shipments, improve production visibility, and support safety applications such as personnel tracking and emergency mustering. Configurable rules and alerts can automatically trigger actions when predefined conditions are met, helping teams respond faster and reduce manual oversight.

Built to work with a wide range of RFID hardware and IoT technologies, Edgefinity IoT can be deployed in the cloud or on-premise and scaled across applications, facilities, and enterprise operations.

    Very Useful Thus Far

    Date: Aug 25 2026

Summary: Once everything was set up and configured properly, the system works. Its accuracy is like magic. No matter how the inventory came into the floor, The scans came in at just about 100% accuracy.

Positive: We are using Edgefinity to track inventory as it enters our facility. It works very effectively without having our team do a thing. The forklifts or trucks come in and the inventory gets scanned.

Negative: For initial set up, support has had to come to the facilities a number of times and work for several hours.

    Very powerful tracking tool

    Edited: Jul 06 2026

Summary: CYBRA's team are RFID experts and were very helpful in getting our system set up. Our environment was challenging and I was initially skeptical we would be able retain accuracy that would make it worth it but it did work amazingly well from the start.

Positive: It was able to be customized and installed just as we needed it. The software is used to track inventory in our cold chain environment. Due to USDA regulations, we need to keep the inventory at a precise temperature range at all times. Edgefinity has allowed us to track temp and also chain of custody in a simple, straightforward manner.

Negative: Nothing in particular. The tracking software and hardware needed to be customized. It is not out of the box SaaS product but that is expected as it needs to be calibrated to the environment.

Very helpful, exactly what we were looking for

    Date: Jun 25 2026

Summary: For our industry, this was a necessary move. We have been given a compliance order from one of our vendors so we wanted to work with a team that was well versed in RFID. Cybra are certainly that. We'll continue to work with Cybra on RFID projects going forward.

Positive: Very helpful service and extremely knowledgeable team in regards to RFID. Along with the Edgefinity installation, the team also helped with attaining the right tags and hardware to ensure our set up was successful. For this kind of technology, some kind of education is necessary, and the company, Cybra, was very helpful in this regard. Just getting us up and running was worth it.

Negative: Getting accurate reads and setting up elements of the system were quite tedious, to be honest. I'm not sure if this was at all avoidable. From what I understand, RFID can be rather temperamental. It did not slow us down too much as the Cybra team handled much of the configuration.
