Documents are converted server-side and flattened to monochrome before transmission, so a colour element that would vanish on the receiving end never leaves the system. Fax content is never sent by email: notifications carry page count, size and time only — never the document, the sender or the recipient. On outbound faxes the document never leaves our servers; the carrier receives a tokenised URL valid for 30 minutes.
