DeckCraft is a versatile open-source tool designed for the creation, modification, and presentation of slide decks. It offers a variety of features including themes, layouts, text formatting options, shapes, images, tables, charts, various transitions, animations, a presenter view, and the ability to display slideshows in full screen. The software supports opening and saving PowerPoint PPTX files and allows users to export presentations in formats such as PDF, PNG, JPEG, and outlines. Users can operate the application through its intuitive graphical interface, as well as via over 200 command-line commands, a JSON control channel, or an MCP server tailored for AI-agent workflows. DeckCraft is accessible as native applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, in addition to a WebAssembly version that can be deployed as a static website. WordCraft is an accessible and open-source word processing tool designed for those who create and format various types of documents. Featuring a ribbon interface, it offers a range of editing and design functionalities that include styles, tables, images, citations, footnotes, tables of contents, comments, tracked changes, as well as spelling and grammar checks, and mail merge capabilities. The software can read and write DOCX files, accommodate legacy DOC formats, and is compatible with ODT, RTF, HTML, Markdown, LaTeX, and plain text, in addition to allowing exports to PDF and page images. It operates natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and has a WebAssembly version that can be deployed on a static server. Moreover, its command-line utilities, JSON control channel, and server functioning under the Model Context Protocol enable scripted and AI-agent-driven document processing workflows.
