Summary: PowerPoint has been the king of presentation software since its debut decades ago. It has a huge variety of features and wide community support. However, it must be purchased with the rest of the office suite.

Positive: - simple interface packs a ton of features
- lots of existing themes to choose from
- large community for support
- integrates well with other office products
- options for animation, sound, video, etc
- presenter mode makes running presentations on a second display easy

Negative: - has to be purchased as part of an office subscription or the office suite bundle
- free version only reads presentations, and doesn't edit them

Summary: Overall MS PowerPoint is one of the leading presentation software and has been around for quite some time. While I dislike the move to a subscription service on Microsoft's part, the most recent incarnations of PowerPoint are a definite improvement on older versions of the software, and I prefer PowerPoint to other alternatives currently on the market.

Positive: More recent versions of Microsoft's PowerPoint have ultimately proven to be a very useful presentation tool for projects. In a recent graduate level group project I lead, we utilized MS PowerPoint's online coordination abilities to work be able to work on the presentation simultaneously. This ability was amazing while we were closing the project out and preparing the final presentation as while we were holding the wrap up meeting in Skype we were able to all make edits and review the presentation on the same copy.

Negative: My main complaint with PowerPoint is that the user interface in more recent versions is a bit more confusing and less user friendly than older versions.

Summary: It's the standard to which all other presentation builders are compared. It easy to use and figure out new features without needing special training.

Positive: PowerPoint is easy to use, powerful, and professional for building presentations. The templates and see m designs are nice too.

Negative: It doesn't have quite the flash as Apple's presentation builder, which seems more modern, but it does the job.

Summary: Originally made for the MacOS, it has actually become a staple of every Windows PC. PPT decks are intuitive and fun and make meetings easier.

Positive: Ease of use, features, design and support are unparalleled. There are very few apps like MS PPT. Updated support for local languages makes life better.

Negative: Nothing much to hate in PPT. It is the standard for delivering presentations.

Summary: Microsoft PowerPoint is an amazing tool to create attractive slides for any type of presentation. There are a lot of transition and animations available within the software to make the slides more attractive.

Positive: 1. PowerPoint has a ton of readily available template for every theme.
2. Content can be copy and pasted from other Microsoft Office tools directly to the PowerPoint.
3. Animations can be added to customize and make the slides a little more intuitive.
4. It has pretty much all the features of Word along with animations and transitions feature.

Negative: 1. It does not support video well in the slides.
2. All the features can be a bit intimidating at first for the beginner.

Summary: Definitive experience for creating office presentations. Others imitate and build on top of, but this is the original and always will be.

Positive: This makes presentations possible by allowing you to edit the look and feel of it through a bevy of options. Clever users can even build game-show like experiences by using these tools in different ways.

Negative: Output file size can be large. Snap to edges would be appreciated.

Summary: Overall, PowerPoint is a great option for business or personal use. Creating memories or presentations, this software is well designed and very user-friendly. The ease of creating your own content is great!

Positive: PowerPoint allows our company to create internal training presentations with ease. The template options are creative and well-designed. The outcome of your presentation solely depends on the effort you put into it. Results may vary but the software is amazingly user-friendly and streamline.

Negative: It would be very convenient to have a voice over option for presentations that are created. Having two sounds as an option would also be nice, so setting a soothing music and then voiceover recording while the slides are directed.

Summary: Overall PowerPoint is the founding father for presentations. I do admit they could use some new features, but if you are looking for simplistic way to express an idea or present to an audience, this is the program to use.

Positive: Powerpoint is so smooth to use. I have been using it for easily 10 years. They provide plenty of templates to create presentations to captivate your audience.

Negative: Lately PowerPoint has felt stagnant as now new features have rolled out. I would like to see some features that Prezi has be incorporated.

Summary: This application has a very specific purpose, but it is surprisingly useful in generating other types of content.

Positive: Powerpoint let users create surprisingly customizable documents. The intention is to create slides for presentations, or any visual, linear content, but it can do more than that as well! Especially for users that don't have access to (or don't have the knowledge to use) Adobe programs, powerpoint has enough tools that users can create graphics, charts, tables, etc that can be used in myriad contexts.

While there is definitely an art to creating effective presentations, powerpoint delivers all of the necessary tools in a very streamlined package. Powerpoint is one of the most intuitive, easy-to-use Microsoft application.

Negative: Microsoft should remove annoying slide transitions so that no one is ever subjected to distracting fades. All jokes aside, I think the main issue with powerpoint is that it needs a makeover. I hear a lot of people discuss powerpoint as though it were ancient tech that is never used anymore. In my line of work, it has been a critical way to craft project pitches and sales presentations. Microsoft should consider ways to keep the platform relevant before they loose the user literacy that they currently have.

Summary: As a math-physics teacher, I use it many times to illustrate the curriculum. Students are also happy to use it either for learning or to do their own work.

Positive: PowerPoint is an easy to learn easy to use software with intuitive user environment. You can create slideshows with animation, fade, and other effects in some minutes.

Negative: Inserting images from the clipboard does not work only in blank areas.

Summary: Overall, I would recommend Microsoft Powerpoint to anyone who plans to teach and needs a solid option for presentation slides.

Positive: Microsoft Powerpoint is a superb presentation tool for your visual presentations. It is easy to use!

Negative: I wish Microsoft Powerpoint had the ability to convert into Keynote.

Negative: Advanced features are little bit difficult to understand for a common user.

Summary: Overall I used this software since i was in 8th standard and it helps me a lot for school projects and presentations. once you use this software you will definitely use this for your every presentation. I am totally satisfied with its specifications, functions and features. It is very useful tool for making attractive presentations.

- This software has a huge number of features like Slide animations, Font styles and shapes, Templates which makes the presentation more attractive and easily understandable.

Negative: - You must have basic knowledge to use this software.
- It has lots of features to use which creates a hurdle to understand the different functions.

Summary: This is a very powerful tool for making attractive presentations and it has vast features which makes your presentation stand out.
I have been using this software from a very long time, it's updates and new functions never disappointed me.
I think if you want your presentation to stand out of others you should use this Microsoft PowerPoint.

Positive: There are lot of pros to talk about like:
- It Is available in both offline and on cloud.
- Sharing presentations via Lync is very useful in this pandemic while working from home.
- There are large number of Templates, Animations, Shapes & fonts.
- There is OneDrive cloud storage as well, helps to store as much you want.

Negative: - It is very expensive, if you are looking for cheaper versions to make presentations there are other cheaper alternatives out there that does the same job.
- Sometimes it can be hard to understand the different functions it provides, as it provides vast functions for you to make your presentation.

Summary: Overall this Microsoft PowerPoint is the best software for making presentations with best customer support and worth or money.

Positive: There are a lot of features in PowerPoint.

There are hints for all tools if you get confused.

Negative: There is no issue with power point but it's a little bit confusing for new users.
