Description
Cvent's innovative technology empowers event planners to effectively crowdsource high-quality content through a streamlined Call for Papers process. This advanced solution allows organizations to oversee the entire procedure, from the initial stages of gathering submissions to the final step of integrating selected works into a comprehensive agenda. With Cvent Abstract Management, users can enjoy extensive customization options for their submission forms, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered to support informed decision-making. After collecting the submissions, it's essential to identify the reviewers and assign specific tracks or topics for their evaluation, facilitating smooth coordination of scoring and voting among various stakeholders across different locations and time zones. Utilizing the feedback from reviewer ratings, votes, and comments enables organizers to make informed final decisions by easily accepting or rejecting submissions. Furthermore, once final choices have been made, automated email notifications can be dispatched to authors, streamlining the communication process and enhancing the overall experience for all parties involved. This level of organization not only simplifies the workflow but also fosters a collaborative environment for evaluating submissions and selecting the best content.
Description
Employees can utilize the Innovation Station application on any company-provided or personal device, including computers and smartphones. Anyone has the opportunity to propose an idea, while others can easily cast their votes and leave comments, with the option for anonymity. Once an idea accumulates a specific number of votes, the innovator is allowed to initiate the investigation phase. In certain instances, an executive may choose to expedite an idea's progression without waiting for the necessary votes. The innovator is then given a period of approximately 30 days along with designated resources to further explore and refine their idea, culminating in a final presentation to executives. If the investigation proves favorable and is reviewed positively by a panel assessing the business case, the idea advances to incubation, where it undergoes prototyping, small-scale testing, adjustments, and validation. It’s important to acknowledge that not every idea will succeed, which is perfectly acceptable, as some concepts may simply be ahead of their time, although thorough research has been conducted. Ultimately, the last stage involves either the implementation of a new product or enhancement of a process, or a decision to either Pass or Perish the idea based on its viability. This entire process encourages creativity and innovation within the organization while allowing for constructive feedback.
