Description
Cronjob.de allows you to execute cron jobs externally by simply providing the URL of a script and selecting a schedule; our servers will trigger it punctually—whether that’s every minute, every five minutes, daily, or using any crontab expression. This service eliminates the need for a server, SSH access, or direct crontab management, making it an ideal solution for environments like shared hosting, WordPress (WP-Cron), e-commerce platforms, and various web applications.
Each invocation is meticulously logged, detailing status, execution time, and response initiation, ensuring you’re informed when a job fails with a notification for each incident, plus a confirmation when it resumes, delivered via email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, or as a signed JSON webhook. Additionally, Cronjob.de proactively alerts you before the SSL certificate for your job URLs expires and is capable of monitoring the performance of websites and servers as well.
The system supports a variety of HTTP methods including GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, and HEAD, allowing for custom headers, request bodies, and HTTP basic authentication. Furthermore, a maintenance mode feature exists to temporarily suspend jobs during server maintenance, ensuring that once the work is complete, the exact jobs that were running are reinstated seamlessly.
Description
If you have the ability to run Perl, automating your backups using a cron job becomes feasible. In cases where your hosting provider doesn't support cron jobs, you have the option to utilize another service that does. For smaller databases, you can opt to receive backups directly via email. However, if the backup file exceeds email size limits, you can set up automatic transfers to as many as three different FTP servers. You don't have to possess advanced skills to ensure your databases are backed up securely. MySQLDumper effectively manages various potential errors autonomously, minimizing the number of technical questions you have to address. It provides a straightforward method to back up and restore MySQL databases efficiently. You will receive email notifications regarding completed backup operations, which can include or exclude the backup file as an attachment, and you can set a maximum size for these attachments. Additionally, you can automate the transmission of backups through FTP to multiple servers, ensuring redundancy. The system also allows for easy organization and management of backup files, providing all relevant information in one convenient view. This makes it even simpler to keep track of your data security efforts.
