MySQLDumper Description
Perl can be used to automate backups using cron jobs. Even if your hoster doesn't offer cron jobs you can still use them with another provider. You can have backups sent to your email address if it is a smaller database. You can have the backup files automatically transferred to up 3 FTP servers if the backup file is too large for email. To secure your databases securely, you don't have to be an expert. MySQLDumper can handle almost all errors independently and will not bother you with technical questions.
