Description
CleanLytics ID Badge Designer is a desktop application that facilitates the creation and management of ID cards for staff, contractors, and visitors. Users can design single- or double-sided badges featuring photos, barcodes, and QR codes, while also organizing cardholders through its integrated database. It supports importing data via CSV files and allows connections to various databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQLite, or ODBC, with the capability to save updates directly to these databases. The software includes a feature for capturing photos through a webcam, complete with automatic background removal for a polished look. It is compatible with both Windows and macOS print drivers for card printers like Magicard, Zebra, Evolis, and HID Fargo, and it can encode magnetic-stripe or contactless cards using a PC/SC reader. Moreover, users have the ability to send person and card information to systems such as Paxton Net2, Gallagher, Brivo, Verkada, or Avigilon Alta, although API access may require activation from the provider. The program also enables users to manage expiry dates, handle renewals, generate reports, assign user roles, and maintain audit logs. Multiple computers can access a single data folder, enhancing collaboration. The software is compatible with Windows 10/11 and Apple-silicon Macs, and it offers a comprehensive 14-day trial for users to explore its capabilities. This makes it an ideal solution for organizations looking to streamline their ID card management process.
Description
The most prevalent format for proximity cards in the industry is the 26-bit card, commonly known as H10301. This format is open, enabling consumers to procure proximity cards from various photo ID retailers, which is vital for managing expenses effectively. Both HiCo and LoCo magnetic stripe cards can store the same amount of data; however, the key distinction lies in the ease of encoding and erasing the information on each stripe type. Choosing the appropriate ID card printer is crucial, as the process of selecting the right identification solution can feel daunting. To assist potential buyers, this guide provides essential insights and practical advice for those looking to invest in an ID card printer, ensuring they make a well-informed decision. Understanding the features and capabilities of different printers can significantly enhance your ID card production experience.
