Description

AskSiya Inc., located in Toronto, is the innovative company behind Siya, an AI-driven phone receptionist specifically designed for small enterprises. Siya efficiently handles incoming calls immediately, around the clock, facilitating tasks such as taking food orders for eateries and booking rooms for hotels and motels, while providing businesses with a comprehensive dashboard that includes call transcripts, live order tickets, and confirmation emails. The inception of the company stemmed from a keen observation: during peak dinner hours at a local pizzeria, employees were so busy that they couldn't answer incoming calls, resulting in customers choosing to place orders elsewhere. While large corporations utilize call centers to manage such situations, smaller businesses often resort to voicemail, which is less effective. AskSiya was created to bridge this gap, driven by the conviction that no small business should ever miss out on potential customers due to unanswered calls. Siya's capabilities extend beyond basic call handling, as it supports over 100 languages with the ability to switch mid-conversation, filters out robocalls, and can transfer calls to staff members when necessary, all while keeping track of real-time room availability for accommodation providers. Additionally, the setup process is incredibly user-friendly, taking less than 15 minutes for businesses to get started with the service.

Description

WaveKat Voice is an application for Mac and Linux that transforms your computer into a fully functional business phone line. By linking to your existing phone provider, such as Twilio, Telnyx, or 2talk, you can seamlessly make and receive calls directly from your laptop without needing additional hardware or a desk phone. The app remains discreetly in your menu bar, ready to alert you when a call comes in. All conversations are automatically recorded and stored as soon as you end the call, accompanied by a real-time transcript that allows you to focus on the discussion rather than taking notes. By default, calls, recordings, and transcripts are retained locally on your device; only if you log into a WaveKat account are your records synced to the cloud, enabling access from any location. Currently available for free during its public beta phase, WaveKat Voice is designed to be lightweight and prioritize user privacy, continuously updating itself in the background for your convenience. Its intuitive interface and robust features make it an ideal choice for professionals seeking a streamlined communication solution.
