Journal Krystlstorm's Journal: Published! 4

My university has published an anthology of student writing to teach future students. I knew about this last year but it is finally up. Its official I am published! YaY me! (Dances a jig on the coffee table and consequently breaks it). Step one in life dream complete. Hey it's not much, but its publication. On another note, I need a life. Maybe I will just invent myself a life and get it published, at least then I could pretend to have one. After all, isn't our perception of life in our head anyway? I have an odd hankering to play one of those old text adventure games, I wonder if they still make them, and if they are compatible with windows XP, think I will check that out. 17 days till the end of the semester, countdown begins. P.S. Thank you CmdrTaco's Shorts! :)

  • first, congrats! yeah its always nice to get published! I used to write for this magazine called PHP|Architect... writing technical stuff.

I just do my own zine now days. its fun... a bunch of hyper-talented people around here contribute material from time to time.

You should post some of your work. If there's one thing you'll notice is... how many talented people there are around here.

    • Thanks! I was stoked. It's a personal essay that the prof. has to mention every time I see him on campus. LoL I think he is just trying to inflate my head! I need to check out this zine of yours. :)
    • Yeah, and then there's people like me that just sit around and feel stupid because we suck at writing, can't play guitar well, and are only moderately good photographers.

/me runs away, crying like a little girl with a skinned knee.

  • It's always a great feeling to accomplish something like that.
