By the way...GNAA is still the worst trolling group on slashdot today. Y'all need to take a cue from Trolling4Dollars, the_mad_poster, and other masters of the art.

The "You have 458 new messages" thing at the top of the slashdot mainpage made me giggle, at least.

See, now, I browse at -1 because I honestly enjoy the mental gymnastics that go into a good troll.

Of course, by "a good troll", I mean something like Swift's "A Modest Proposal"--now THAT was a troll.

The idiots who just flood the same thing over and over, though...well, they're not even good enough to be trolls in my book. I rag on the GNAA here specifically because it was ragging on them that induced the flood in the first place. =)

Well, there are two kinds of great trolls--the kind that are great because they get so many bites, and the kind that are great because they're funny/good reading in and of themselves.

T_m_p is in the latter category, I think. Of course, arguements could be made that put bmetzler, CyranoVR, and yourself in that category, too, it's hard to define. =)
