Safety Cap's Journal: New Slashcode rolled to production w/o testing, or is it me?

Have you tried posting anonymously to this front-page story? When I tried, I got:

Evidence of incompetence:

• I'm the only one on my block that posts here.
• A quick check of my last 24 comments reveals no down-mods
• The discussion has a very low number of comments

I'm thinking someone rolled to production again without testing, and now something is busted. Again. Or, Michael loves me.

it must really be your IP subnet. I just posted an anonymous comment on a joke I was thinking of- attached to the very first thread in the story. And apparently it was only 57 seconds ago. Still less than two minutes ago. That's the part of slashcode that gets to me- the speed limits. One successfull comment every two minutes. Got to spend less than 20 seconds typing it. No more than 30 posts in four hours, and no more than 50 posts a day.

P.S. Subnet != block. Subnet equals 256 users, usually, depending on the mask (The Mask is ANDed on, I believe, to determine if an address is in the subnet, thus 255.255.255.0 on an address of 192.168.1.15 will yeild a subnet of 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.256). Thus, subnet isn't geographic at all- another user of your ISP across town could be on your subnet easily.
