This is the greatest business handout in the history of American politics for sure, and probably in the history of all politics. Granted, it is just ROI for the insurance industry, who owns politicians on both sides of the aisle in every elected office in the land. They invested heavily to ensure they wouldn't be left out, and their government servants rewarded them thusly.

Hence we were presented with the Health Insurance Industry Bailout Act of 2010 - aka "Obamacare".
