I guess I have to write something to spice up my journal since it is the new year and all.

The new year finds me hopeful, I hope it brings new tidings of change for the better, although the dark winds of human history beckon us, we as a collective mind of brilliant people can just delude ourselves that we have the answer.

To coin a phrase: Reality is a harsh Mistress.
