Journal marcushnk's Journal: IQ

I had an interesting experiance with an online IQ testing site..
( this one : http://www.highiqsociety.org/noflash/nonmembers/iqtests.htm )
I did the "Culture fair IQ Test" and got 123..
The test was timed.. and I know that the score also runs off how long it took to answer each question.. I was doing it in a linux enviroment where several times I had to click two or three times because the Linux GUI enviroment isn't quite as forgiving as a windows one.. plus I was distracted by my SO twice.. so in theory.. I could have scored higher than "Significantly above average."

Kinda interesting thought... but then.. I feel the value of these tests are somewhat over stated..

Getting prepped for the big upgrade.. I'm pretty damned sure that I'll do this without much of a hitch.. but you know how it is, High end user usage mail server, the only one we have doing a 3 disk raid swap to 6 disk raid, I'd guess about a 12 hour down time. I always worry and question my self ability during medium to big risk jobs like this..
Rebuilt the MGM's Pc the other night.. will be returning back there in a few nights to finish the job (ie install cd audio cable and setup ICS on his home wireless netowrk..) I did a damn nice job on his home PC, cable tied everything out of the way.. very neat and tidy, it helped that it was a nice case to work on.. must buy an Aopen case for Rea when she wants her upgrade.

hmm.. better get back to it.... :-/
