Jefferson City, MO (STL.News) â" The Missouri Attorney Generalâ(TM)s Office is joining with local and state agencies to help those affected by the devastating flooding throughout Missouri. Investigators from the Attorney Generalâ(TM)s office will provide resource materials with tips on selecting reputable contractors, avoiding price gouging, protecting personal information from identity fraud, and other scams seen after natural disasters.
âoeMissouri communities have been upended by these natural disasters, and we want to be as helpful as possible as they move to rebuild houses, clean up neighborhoods, and return to normalcy,â said Attorney General Schmitt.Â
