Most people don't realize that the default for mainstream Christianity and most forms of Catholicism is something called "Theistic Evolution" which is much the same as Deistic Evolution and Atheistic Evolution, but with the dangerous nonsense about Eugenics and mankind having more than casual responsibility for preserving the existence of non hominid species removed (well, beyond the "Adam, tend the garden" bit, which our civilization seems to have gotten REALLY bad at as of late).
