One, based on the title, I was expecting it to be an historical perspective on slashdot itself.
Two - and perhaps more important - I'm disappointed that the author neglected to mention that with almost no exception, the current administration has extended the unexceptional policies of the last. If he wants to get post-partisan on the matter (though he never said he did) he needs to be willing to acknowledge faults on "both" sides.
