Or to read a poll [slashdot.org] and get it on the front page [slashdot.org] (since I was too dumb-a** to submit it).

I've got 8 freaks after 7.5 years here, and I'm a Microsoft-using religious Conservative, i.e. anathema to 9x% of Slashdotters, so I should be the one with the much longer haters list.
I just don't care too much to get into pissing contests with people.
Other causes I think I've seen, but which don't apply to you I don't believe:
* Foe'ing people. Because of that damn notification feature of this system's, it cannot be decoupled from also serving as an insult sender. It presumes that everyone who wants to cut

The foe'ing thing I guess they do as the other face of friending - and let's face it - you're not "bad people".
Having gone through the whole fundie thing myself, I'm not going to bash someone just because they have religious beliefs - I'll bash them when they try to impose them on others. In particular, when people preach "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", and don't see the complete hypocrisy of then telling others what to believe and how they should run their lives when they're not h

The world would be a better place if we all just stayed out of other people's business. For America at least, this can never be, because we've got two competing major religions, Christianity and Leftism, that while don't necessarily have to be about imposing theirs on everyone, in practice frequently or almost always do. The former used to dominate, later in my life it's been the latter, but the evil in that approach is the same.
