  • ... I can mark you "freak". Wouldn't be honest, though.
    • Please don't - it's the friends on slashdot who make things easier (though I'm going to start using my other account, not only because I'm tired of the "Dude, blah blah blah..." misunderstandings, but because it will make my future plans a *lot* less complicated, for obvious (and some not-so-obvious) reasons.

That doesn't mean I'll stop using this one, of course (there's a LOT of history here), but the personal stuff will end up under the other account. It's in the high 6-digits, so it's not great, but it

      • Hallo.

I ended up here on Metamod, and I looked at the title wondering "what the heck story was that?!"

I only reflex-friend people, after they friend me first. So I have a very small circle at all.

  • I've got 8 freaks after 7.5 years here, and I'm a Microsoft-using religious Conservative, i.e. anathema to 9x% of Slashdotters, so I should be the one with the much longer haters list.

I just don't care too much to get into pissing contests with people.

Other causes I think I've seen, but which don't apply to you I don't believe:

    * Foe'ing people. Because of that damn notification feature of this system's, it cannot be decoupled from also serving as an insult sender. It presumes that everyone who wants to cut

    • The foe'ing thing I guess they do as the other face of friending - and let's face it - you're not "bad people".

Having gone through the whole fundie thing myself, I'm not going to bash someone just because they have religious beliefs - I'll bash them when they try to impose them on others. In particular, when people preach "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", and don't see the complete hypocrisy of then telling others what to believe and how they should run their lives when they're not h

      • The world would be a better place if we all just stayed out of other people's business. For America at least, this can never be, because we've got two competing major religions, Christianity and Leftism, that while don't necessarily have to be about imposing theirs on everyone, in practice frequently or almost always do. The former used to dominate, later in my life it's been the latter, but the evil in that approach is the same.

Been trying to tell you this for years: You're way more mainstream than you think, even here.
    • I ignore people I don't like... I don't foe them. However, I do friend people whom I like. If many people do like me, you easily can understand the discrepancy between the foe and friend lists. Like the woman I recently had a clash with, she surely pissed me off. Did I foe her? Of course not, but I'll sure ignore her from now on.

Recent investments will yield a slight profit.
