  • To a movement about replacing a less freedom-based system with a more freedom-based one, the truth is a plenty effective tool, not to mention the most morally appealing one. To a movement advocating going the other direction, the truth if delved into below the surface is considerably damaging to one's cause. So the vehicles chosen are force when it is possible, and deception when this more effective alternative is not. And there are no moral qualms, except over effectiveness.
