If this doesn't scare the heck out of you, you're not paying attention. Another dictator in Russia who has allied himself with a dictator in China. If you recall, this was how the last Cold War began. And this time, we do not have an overwhelming economic advantage.

The last Cold War "started" because it gave the US and USSR convenient excuse to ramp up their imperial projects.

But yeah, it just stuns me that China and Russia are still nominally regarded as "good guys".

Which country is acting the imperialist?
1. The United States, invading Iraq and Afghanistan?
2. Russia, dropping bombs in Georgia, invading Chechnya, and poisoning critics?
3. Or China, threatening invasion of Taiwan and invading Japanese territorial waters on a routine basis?

Frankly, with the way Bush, Putin, and Hu are running their countries, the best thing would be to lock all three assholes in a room and connect a car exhaust to a pipe leading into the room.

Let's not forget all three of them, plus Europe, are pumping tons of weaponry into Africa, a place where there is absolutely no need for such things where they exist specifically to target civilians. Only terrorists need weapons like these, and that's who's buying them. And there's no need to gas them when simply removing all their authority and tattooing "I am a murderer" on their foreheads would be plenty sufficient. But now, China owes the call on US debt.

Chinese goods always had lead paint, etc. It's being exploited suddenly, as an instrument of foreign policy.

The latests "scares" over product quality from the PRC are USian warnings that they will collapse the market for chinese products, so don't play games with the credit.

It's economic MAD - but the US market is no longer king - only prince, with a European duke in the background.
