I just had a profound moment. This "Fair Tax" that every moron is pushing is just like the "Death Tax".
It's all in the name.

  • The name of something is very important when you're selling it. It has to fit the big moral picture, and that's called a frame.

    The Fair Tax isn't fair, because the rich pay proportionately less than the poor. The claim that it closes loopholes is wrong, because I could avoid paying taxes by bartering and playing games with the prices I charge to my free-loading friends.
