  • Yeah, they messed it up. They introduced this "Blue's Room" where she's a furry, has a different set of friends, and can talk.

    In the Baby Brother show, they somehow have a crossover with "normal" characeters like Joe and Shovel and Pail at a party there. It's all messed up.

    Luckily, I haven't seen any normal episodes with the baby brother, even though it's been out for several months in NJ.

    TiVo isn't bad - still of lot of classic Steve or early Joe.

  • My sister gave me a stuffed Blue (she barks and plays the theme song!) for Christmas one year, along with my very own Handy Dandy Notebook and giant green crayon. Apparently I complained one time too many about how annoying that Steve guy was. ;^)

    That's really all I have to say. I haven't seen the show since Steve left.
  • it was over when steve left. i was just talking about that with the wife the other night. i lost all interest in watching when he was gone.

      Steve is the one true Blue's Clues host, much like Sean Connory was the one true bond; the rest are just wannabe hacks. Basically Steve reminds me of a combintion of an ex-roomate and pee wee herman.
      • i emailed him once (steve) and got a reply. that guy is, as far as i can tell, pretty cool. i need to buy the album he put out. i liked the clips that were available at his web site.

          My sister-in-law went to college with Steve. Her comments on seeing the show the first time was "take off the dorky shirt and put him in a black leather jacket".

  • Jenna is in love with Barney. I can handle the Wiggles, which Joey has outgrown and now enjoys the 'upsidedown show', which is also amusing enough to be tolerated, but Barney? Shoot my frickin eyes out and put hot pokers in my ears!

      Blue's a furry now? Wow, they're trying to instill fetishes in children that young, huh?

    Oh, you mean the dog from Blue's Clues. I sometimes go by "Blue" because of my handle.

    Never really got into that show. I think the only time I've seen it has been recently. My youngest likes to watch it occasionally. AFAIK, she's the only one of mine who has.

    Now my oldest, he used to be a huge Barney fan. Man that's fun to point out now that he's 16.
