Can you tell that Ben gave me a photoshop tutoring session? I think I've got more of a sense of what I need to do to my photos now, and I have the tools to do so. I like having the right tools and knowing how to use them.

My lappy's here with me today, and I'll be re-working some (more) of my recent deviations. So if you're there and watch me, you'll see things pop up that you thought you already looked at. :)

I've lurked around deviantArt for quite a few years, but never joined. As I don't have an account on that site and also feel it's belongs here anyway, I would like to say "that's fantastic." You really did a good job of cleaning that up. Way to go :)

thanks; i'm just glad to have direction. I'd get "you need to [do something] to this picture" and I didn't know how before. Now I at least have SOME clue. :)

you should get an acct, just so you can stalk people and leave comments.

Pretty slick. I've been doing photography for a while now and am still a PS noob, I can adjust levels slightly etc but most of the other options I just slide right by.

Also, have you considered flickr for putting up your photos? I used DA for a while and opted for flickr over it. The interface is a bit cleaner, and the community less ... blood oriented.

well, i do have a flickr acct -- since i have a yahoo id (the same one I've had for ~10 YEARS, oddly enough) -- but dA has been pretty good to me. And I think that the blood in the community has to do with who you associate with, kinda like slashdot.
