This sums up the sheer amazement I felt as certain congress critters and senators got up this week and were busy declaring Iraq an abject failure amidst all of the news that was streaming in.

So I'll offer a few words of wisdom of my own, or rather, of a writer whose name I have forgotten (Wrote _Jonathan_Livingston_Seagull_, among other books, Richard somebody, Bach I think, and this is from his book-within-a-book, _The Messiah's Handbook_ in _Illusions_): Perspective: Use it or lose it. You're going to die a horrid death anyway, so have fun with it. Just don't laugh on your way to the executioner- your disciples won't understand that this was your final destination all along.
