I can definitely tell summertime has fully kicked in here in Lincoln... my cable modem has come to a screeching halt. Every kid in the city must be logged on, sucking up bandwidth on myspace. :rolleyes:

whaat? and leave the comfortable air conditioning? The days of mowing lawns and shoveling sidewalks is over, my friend. Twelve year olds think they're too good to do manual labor and chores, and seventeen your olds think they're too damn good for a minimum-wage summer job.

Actually my summers were always "bring in the harvest"- thus the link to illegal immigrants, which today are used for the same job.

Ahh, that makes sense. Most of the farm kids that I know actually do work for their parents and have a decent attitude about it. All of the illegals in my area are into meat packing, not farming :)
