Fiztgerald will be asking the grand jury to indict Lewis Libby in relation to the Plame fiasco. Nothing about Rove... yet.

House Majority Leader DeLay? Indicted.

Vice President's Chief of Staff? Indicted.

President's Chief Strategist? "Still under investigation."

Possibly even the Vice President himself? Nah, those are just rumors.

Crucial, career-making **2nd** supreme court nomination? Not exactly the clever maneuver I took it for.

It's almost a little... unnerving. So, you know what I've been looking forward to since this whole thing started? Hey Railgunner, Elgamkowski, Ellem... Please, make it better?

he's sufficiently far enough removed from the president that W won't be blamed. Rove or Cheney would have been more fun.

Lets hope that Libbey either turns state's evidence or decides he wants to take his chances with a trial rather than go for some sort of plea bargan.

maximum penalty is 30 years, not that he'd get that much, but I don't think anyone believes he acted alone in this, I want him to drag some others down with him :)

Who says Bush will pardon anyone?

First he is almost pathological about insisting on doing things different from his Father.

Second Libby is just 'the help' and Bush doesn't seem likely to pardon anyone unless it is needed to save his own neck or of members of the family.

I'm disappointed

I still haven't heard any good candidates for a "-gate" suffixed word. I mentioned this to my mom and the best she could come up with was "Scootergate" which I thought was kind of lame.

We need people working on this, pronto.
