OK, this is too fucking weird. I'm currently in Black Rock City, Nevada, on a wireless internet connection. Off the grid and yet connected. For a fairly old-school (beginning 1997) Burner like me it is just too odd to be in any touch at all. Ah well, sic transit gloria mundi.

Any Fans (and others!) who happen to be in BRC, come visit bioluminati at 7:00 (Literal) / Authority.

    This some sort of Burning Man thing?
    • Burning Man is held in the Black Rock Desert, hence the "City" is called "Black Rock City".

      For the last several years, Black Rock City is something like the 6 or 8th largest population center in Nevada for the week.
  • I always wanted to check out that event, I hope to in the next few years, me and the mrs., if the $$$ for the travel and event materialize (East Coast Residents) and we have a little one, who I probably wouldn't want to bring for the first one at least :)
