Wow. Hugo Chavez. I've not seen a bigger clown in politics since George Galloway.
Even Charles Rangel and Nancy Pelosi are saying Chavez is an idiot.
I don't even consider what Chavez says worth responding to directly, except to say that it's incredible to me that people like Galloway (who calls Fidel Castro a saint) and Chavez come to America and call Bush the devil who is so terrible for freedom
It's kinda like all these dumb suburban kids who wear Che Guevara t-shirts, who, if they were living under Guevara, would have been some of the first lined up against the wall and shot.

The clip I have heard played a lot the yesterday was:

But there was more to it than that, he basically goes on the say that it is his job to bash the president. There was no defending the president in his mind while showing his outrage. On one of the few days I listened to Rush yesterday, he brought up some decent points, basically along the lines of many of the thing

No, it was still defending the President. Defending the President from Chavez. So that the President could be attacked by Rangel. Hey, it's not much, but it's something.

I never heard of this guy until late last week. Suddenly I keep seeing his name everywhere.
Went to Wikipedia earlier this week and got myself a clue. :)
