I vote Libertarian

Every one always tells me, "They will never win, don't throw away your vote."

This makes no sense to me. Even though it is true that the Libertarian candidate won't win, I figure a vote for the Libertarian will have more impact than a vote for one of the two big parties. 1) the Libertarians will be eligible for federal election money if they get more votes (I am pretty sure); and 2) people are more likely to notice an increase in the number of votes for the Libertarian candidate.

I vote Libertarian unless the election looks to close AND I have a clear preferance among the other candidates.
