Journal mercedo's Journal: Eugenic protection? 5

Though abortion itself was illegal in Japan, it was widely held under the law called 'eugenic species protection law' -true. This law was abolished several years ago because it was a loophole. Considering the meaning of the word, I feel shivered.

If there were only case which is illegal, there might be done forcibly under the name of 'protection of eugenic species' from one people to another, it must be very illegal.

From some statistics, over 90% abotion case in which involves a personal choice between a man and a woman. Which means less than 10% case it involves something other than personal choice. What was that?

For example, though a man and woman wanted to have babies, their family were opposed to.. something like that. Have another idea?

In countries where abortion is legal for choice reasons, this 10% usually quickly falls to less than 1% of all abortions. In some countries where abortion is punishable as a capital crime, the 10% usually quickly rises to 100% of all abortions.

Not only unborn babies but elderly people too were victimised. They were left deep in the mountains by their child's hands.

Ainu people were died out as a result of intermarriage and assimilation policy from 1867. Before there must have been many discriminations and persecutions for them, but we are not sure.

          • I thought I had answered this earlier, sorry.

Parents killing their children is a foreign concept to me- in the cultures all of my relatives come from children are greatly valued. Old people is another concept however- in Native American cultures during times of famine the old would wander off of their own volitiion when they heard the owl call their name; and simply never return.
