Rainy Season Is Over

Comments Filter:
  • DO you really only have 10 days of a rain a year or is it more metaphorical?
    • Since Japan is located at the rim of monsoon affected area, this country usually has a rainy season. But unlike other Asian subtropical area, it only lasts up to one month. Usually June falls on this season, in ancient Japanese term June is called 'the month of rain'. During these days we have lots of rainfall almost every day.

This year we hadn't had a rainy season in June, but only around the midst of July we started having rainfall. It only lasted ten days but all the more the rainfall was intense.
