Journal mercedo's Journal: Solutions Edition 12
Everybody around me knows that I am extremely particular about a dictionary. I used to carry a dictionary wherever possible whenver. I was a man walking with a dictionary, then people called me in short, I am a walking dictionary, and I'd prefer to be called so.
This time my choice is Collins English Dictionary. They say or I say there are five good dictionaries in the world. Those are Oxford, Chambers, Collins, Longman, Cambridge. Now I have OALD -however old it is -it has lost 18 pages in A section, and POD -however disbanded it is -it is devided into 10 pieces. Oxford Pocket Dictionary -however small it is, Longman Pocket Dictionary -I just store it, Cambridge International Dictionary of English -however big it is,. Chambers -I was unable to find it any more.
Collins is a new star to me. Instead of purchasing again OALD, POD, I chose Collins. This comes in handy, brighter paper, lighter weight, many vocabulary, with appropriate etymological description I found it almost perfect to meet my demand and needs.
Solutions Edition -that's the name of this edition.

Are the books related to the Apocrypha? I'm curious to know the real reason 14 books were taken away from the Old Testament.

Yep, that's them. Really 13 books and a few extra chapters from the book of Daniel. There were three reasons, at three entirely different times, for removing them. The earliest was the Council of Nazareth- a Pharasee Jew council after the destruction of Jerusalem, that blamed the revolution on Christianity and other end-of-the-world sects like the Essenes and the Zealots and the Z
