mercedo's Journal: Fate

Since I started working second job on 21st of December last year, I could only take two holidays -3rd and 9th of January. Tomorrow is the day off for the first time in eleven days. Indeed I am exhausted. I've been taking notes to write journals here and the notes count about 10 already. Though I've got to keep on working almost every day till 4th of February, I will have a relatively not so busy week next week. I will write down my journals here from the draft that was taken down in my notebook already through next week.

Appropriate hours of working makes me tough, but apparently 13 days, 10 days, 12 days consecutive working makes me discouraging.

Appropriate working hours don't give me enough money to sustain my life. Hah, should I feel glad I work too much?

The idea isn't bad, if you enjoy your work. The question is whether your exhaustion comes with a sense of satisfaction.

Yeah, the idea isn't bad, I didn't mean it that way. I was just trying to give you something to be cheerful about, you know... kinda throwing the "it could be worse" cliche at you. I am happy that I am alive and all *smile*... but very unsatisfied with my work and the drudgery of repititious shell scripts *sigh*.

I'm just engaging in some mindless optimism, hoping that anyone can find something in their work besides a pay cheque. Better to find happiness in what you have than hope for something that may never come, I say, but then again my working life has never been dull (not necessarily lucrative, though).
