damn_registrars's Journal: Spam is enabled by bad registrars

Much as my name implies, I believe that much of the world's spam problem is due to the many lousy registrars that are allowed to sell domains on the internet. Even dot-com TLD registrars are poorly regulated, and regularly sell domains to known spammers.
