Although it probably should have been:

while (not $horse->alive()) { &beat($horse); }

But I digress.

On a more serious note, I don't think you realize how important some of us take our Weevil-related discussions. Nobody's forcing you to boycott Weevil-related discussions here; your contribution to the cause is entirely voluntary. Of course, if you don't participate, you're just hastening the ever-downward spiral that's gripped Slashdot ever since Malda and co decided that Weevils just weren't important discussion topics.

Ah, well. To each his/her own.
